Senator Graham's "angry white guy" is about to become even more verklempt.

Gun control advocate Rupert Murdock's network was calculated to attract its profiled viewers like flies to a pile of steaming Beck, and it was successful in doing so.

As that demographic swarm dissipates and becomes increasingly irrelevant - They're now resigned to smearing a Black kid gunned down in Florida since Americans elected their prior fixation to a second term as President - Fox is increasingly recalibrating to appeal to normals.

When will it dawn on these paranoids that they can no longer trust Roger Ailes to feed them their fetid fare?

“We're not generating enough angry white guys to stay in business!" Lindsey Graham (R-SC)

    1) I just love how lib's love labeling FOX a "conservative network" but get all defensive when any of their liberal net's are labeled LIBERAL!
    2) "Fox is increasingly recalibrating to appeal to normals"? So, what/who in your left wing mind qualifies as "normal"? Ed Shultz?
    3) Angry white guys? What a joke. The left wing media makes a living pandering to angry women, angry blacks, angry unions, angry Hispanics, angry gays, angry illegals, angry teachers, angry parents, angry whoever. The left wing thrives by pandering to whoever they categorically label "disenfranchised" and their end game ALWAYS revolves around some government solution to help those poor souls. They're soooooo compassionate don't ya know. In fact, they're so comapssionate they're willing to skirt the constitution, limit your freedom and bury you, your kids and their kids in debt to prove it.

People who are NOT "Archie Bunkers in their 60s and 70s"......much more than being exclusively appealing to "white" and "male".....the future isn't bright for Fox appealing exclusively to ...."old".

Wow! You guys are wetting your pants in glee because Fox apparently hired Scott Brown?
These "normals" you refer to ironically (like the normals that watch CNN or MSNBC, perhaps) are still going to hate Brown's republican guts. Your obsession over what Fox does never ceases to amaze and amuse me and Fox still easily draws in more viewers than CNN and MSNBC.

Do you care to back up your assertion that FOX draws more viewers than CNN and MSNBC?

Fox News (like the smart guys in the GOP) wants to live into the third decade of the 21st Century and beyond.......appealing to a demographic that will soon only be watching it from nursing homes is not the way to go about that.

I agree, Rupert Murdoch is one of the more adroit business people around.

Two things to always remember about Fox....one even the Left or non-Fox fans forget-

    1. Fox News isn't primarily "rightwing"....it's primarily "Republican Party". FNC will back anything that helps the GOP or supports the RNC's position...even at the cost of pissing off the GOP Base, Tea Partyers, "pure conservatives", etc. Fox News is not the "voice" for the Right....it's the house-organ for the Republican Party first, foremost, and always. It's why guys like Hannity had a "road to Damascus" moment after November 6th and suddenly became "pro-amnesty".

    2. Murdoch wants Fox to keep making money...even at the exclusion of #1 (above) or especially to keep appealing to demographics that will spell its eventual demise in 10 years. If Rupert sees that Fox has to start "playing down" stuff that the old folks like...."move Center"....to capture more younger viewers......he'll do it and Hannity and Greta and Varney and O'Reilly even will go along with it.

might want to look at FOX's share of the 20 - 54 demographic. It pulls in double what CNN or MSNBC does. In other words your logic is flawed

What's wrong for Fox is that the times they are a'changin' - but they're savvy enough to grasp the demographics and move with them.

There is no future in pandering to yesterday's audience.

Not that ratings mean anything as far as whether a network is trustworthy or tells the truth but....

Good point. Fox is a corporate entity before it is a news channel. Their concern above all is profits, not principles.

This is true and since fox is the propaganda arm of the GOP and has a fixed, brainwashed, swallow anything audience then the GOP would naturally use that propaganda arm to rewire it's moronic base to the paradigm.
The GOP has to reinvent itself and using fox is the fastest, surest way to do it.
The brain dead base won't even notice.

    Where do you get that?

It's not an 'obsession' but an observation. Where fox goes the GOP goes and visa-versa since they are nearly one in the same.
Want to know what the GOP is saying, turn on fox.

you mean unlike MSNBC whose only concern is promoting Obama and progressive marxist politics ?

hate to break this to you but Obama and his family arn't spending their vacations down in the hood but like to jet set with the billionaires in Martha's Vineyard. Might want to stop pretending they give a rats ass about anything other than getting more money and power for themselves

the tv by the numbers link has been posted on this forum countless times. Your false bravado of demanding a "link" is just that

The numbers don't lie and I believe that you knew that even before posting your nonsense. Why did you set yourself up like that? Are you simply trolling?

Ya...hate to break it to you but I don't support Obama either. Or those other news channels that you mention. They are all ultimately bourgeoisie propaganda networks.

By the way, Obama is not a Marxist. Hate to break that one to you too.

obviously you know nothing about history. In the USA marxists are the unions, pseudo ecological groups and the progressive branch of the Democratic party. All of which at one time had noble objectives until they were taken over by the power hungry progressives

go to the web site "tv by numbers" which has been posted here time and time again. You can look at ratings of anything you wish including how Fox News dominates cable. Please do not insult yourself any further by posting nonsense.
