Fast and Furious gun turns up after Mexican resort shootout Washington (CNN) -- A dramatic shootout between authorities and suspected cartel gunmen at a Mexican seaside resort this month has ties to a botched U.S. gun operation. A U.S. official said Tuesday that investigators have traced at least one firearm recovered at a December 18 gunfight in Puerto Peñasco, across from the Arizona border, to Operation Fast and Furious. That's the disastrous operation run by agents in the Phoenix office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Agents allowed suspected gun smugglers to buy about 2,000 firearms with the goal of trying to find and prosecute high-level traffickers. Not so, its alive and well, and just in time! Happy New Year Obama! I noticed they watered it down by solely blaming the Phoenix office, but most people with half a brain will connect the dots... Hopefully this will be one of the straws that breaks the camel's back and Obama revokes his Executive Privilege and simply lets the people know the truth, not sure we can handle any LIES...
This was such a terrible move the US to try and pull off. Such a terrible mistake. I wouldn't put it at the top of the worst mistakes that have been made, but it was still terrible. I never agree with using Executive power for something like this.
Isn't that sad, giving guns to drug cartels isn't even the top of the list of bad thing this administration has done... No worries, I totally agree, giving guns and other support to terrorists in Libya and Syria is WAY, WAY worse, not to mention using the IRS as a political weapon and all that NSA stuff, or even THE LIE...
