How do you know what anyone is really saying? Shifty Schiff lied about what Trump said. He is lying about this also.

Conservative like to claim Democrats are unamerican but never produce proof, while proof of Republicans preferring party over country is well documented. Such as the case at hand. Likewise conservatives like to pretend that liberals are the dumb ones, contrary to the evidence.

Actually he is describing typical Republican behavior. The easiest way to understand Republicans is that they prefer belief over empirical evidence.

Matt Gaetz has been more out front on this. Seems he is playing from the same playbook as the Republicans used to steal the election of 2000.

The usual projection by you. Although I am not a Republican, I see various factions that do their own thing. Just because some support Trump, I guess it doesn't occur to you they do it because they support him or his policies, but no, it's because of party. As we can see, especially establishment GOP support Trump about as much as the DNC, I estimate at least half the GOP do not support him. On the other hand we have the DNC who walk in lock step and act as one. There are plenty of examples of Democrats being un-American, you just choose to ignore them. Choosing illegals over US citizens, not accepting the results of an election, dividing the country with identity politics, using bullying tactics to stifle debate such as politics of personal destruction and intimidation and violence to silence opposition. And your last point, you most of all never fail to regurgitate your view that liberals are smarter and wealthier than conservatives. I never see the Right smugly make that claim.

There was a point where I got really tired of conservatives always claiming that liberals were dumb. In fact, I often think that some conservatives have deluded themselves into believing that all liberals are homeless bums living off the public dime, or gender studies graduates living in their parents basement.

So, being an empiricist, I began to shift through the available evidence. I have had a career working as an R&D design engineer. I was quite aware of the highly educated and liberal leaning of that profession, as well as the tech industry in general. Sure enough, checking the data confirms it. In every location where there is a high concentration of high tech companies, and the accompanying high concentration of college educated people, liberal politics dominate.

Liberal politics also dominates big cities where on average only half complete high school, and they far outnumber the well off Liberals.

Except there was nothing in that meeting that wasn't already on public record. The only reason to keep that meeting secret was the house dems are tired of looking like fools and idiots every time they do something in public so now they do everything in secret so they can control the narrative. It is as duplicitous a process as anything I've seen in my fifty years of watching DC.

It’s really simple to me it’s follow the money most politicians as we learned from just one country Ukraine has money in multiple countries. If not money potential money and interest. To put your money first in a market you can control is what our politicians have settled on. Against the law yes, but just like judge Dread said I am the law.

I don't think I do either. Sincerely, could you please explain what actually happened yesterday?

You're yapping about ant hills while the Democrats are openly and proudly monumentally tearing up the constitution and our republic for the sole purpose of getting power any way they can.

Ya, I have read your knowing of things :) So far, I'm really not all that impressed, so if I seem a little dismissive of you and your interpretation of whatever empirical evidence you choose to offer, then let me offer my sincerest apologies in advance :(

Are the impeachment hearings supposed to be secret or not? Didn't these republicans that stormed in had a right to be there in the first place? I don't know. I'm asking

What about the silent Republicans who are also hearing whistleblower testimony? Or are we going to keep pretending it's only Democrats behind closed doors?

They're conducted in a SCIF due to the classified nature of the subject matter being discussed. But members of BOTH parties are involved, and yes, a few of the Republicans who stormed the SCIF do, in fact, have clearance to be present. But they sure do love putting on theater for Trump!

Lindsey is about to go full nutbag in defense of Don.

Graham to introduce resolution condemning House impeachment inquiry

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...df4c72-f5db-11e9-ad8b-85e2aa00b5ce_story.html

In an interview with The Washington Post, Graham said his resolution will criticize the Democratic-led impeachment inquiry, a process he argued is “out of line with what we have done in the past and denies the chance for the president to defend himself.”

    :roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol: Don can't defend himself? :roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol::roflol:

He has twitter, the bully pulpit, lunatics in the House, he is illegally blocking document production and witness testimony, he has Faux, the rest of right wing media, talk radio, and Lindsey making this specious, ridiculous resolution.............but he can't defend himself?:rant::rant::rant:

I'm pretty sure that the Republicans present in these hearings would leak stuff to Faux News if it made Trump look good.

They're hearing testimony from administration officials. A lot of sensitive material is being discussed, so it can't be public. Also, members of both parties are involved because this is a bipartisan event.
