Not true…they were not overturned. The ACLU takes a few token cases a year so they can say they are fair and balanced. They will be the organization to put that final nail in the Christian coffin. They champion child pornography, they defend pedophiles…like the two that killed Jeff Curley…they are evil.

I am not relaxing…its what you liberals want us to do. Aint gonna happen…we need to educate people who have no clue this is going on.

Can you cite a single case where the ACLU championed child pornography or pedophilia?

    You did just that.

Its the same atheist tactic, demanding evidence for faith, and then! viola, not being able to produce evidence for their own claims.

If YOU have no reason or evidence to doubt the claims in the Koran - then don't.

If you have a private business you can't exercise your moral beliefs and stand on them.

Margot - race is something that is immutable and unchangeable. Sexuality is not.

So, if someone chooses to engage in same sex relations, more power to them. If someone else chooses to think that this is caving into sexual desire in lieu of honor? They too are entitled to their position.

There is descrimination based on something that cannot be changed and has no bearing on an individual's character.

And then there is sex. Promiscuity is not something that just automatically HAS to be tolerated. If a group of porn stars showed up at the B&B, they would likewise be turned away - and no one would say, "Well, I was just born a porn star! Therefore you are descriminating against me!"

Sexuality is, in many cases, a direct reflection of a person's charcter. Its debateable about how much charcter is revealed in homosexuality, however, if homosexuals want people to accept them and their choices - then they should probably be tolerant of other attitudes out there.

YOU have to accept my sexuality, but I don't have to accept your moral or religious stance on the same subject?

It might be easier to simply move to a new set of accomodations.

After all, if you are a white guy that walks into a bar that is otherwise entirely black ... and you feel uncomfortable ... well, you could either move on, or be a jerk and decide to start screaming descrimination and how terrible those black people are.

I don't think we can deny civil rights to people who are promiscuous.

The greatest threat to the Church today?

    The Bill Of Rights.

Freedom of religion and other rights are not something Christians tolerate and is not a Christian value.

Already Given but here you go again:
    .
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origen
Not only did Origin believe the son was subordinate. This view was so common among the Church "Fathers" that they are called Origenists.

If you do not like wiki .. Here is what the Church listed as one of the Anathema's against Origin from the Ecumenical councils.

    http://www.ccel.org/ccel/schaff/npnf214.xii.ix.html

The entire Ecumenical council spoke out against Origin's believe that Jesus and God were of the same substance.

From Origins major work "against Celsus"

Jesus is not God, according Origin.

They have frequently defended the right for kids to pray in school, without the help of a teacher, of course.
They take the cases they are asked to represent.
They do not "champion" child porn, nor do they defend pedophiles, except for their right to free speech.
You don't realize it, but they are your staunchest ally.
You feel a need to be persecuted but in the U.S. you don't have much of a leg to stand on.
But if freaking out makes you happy, more power to you.

They already have that right to pray as follows:

    http://www.adl.org/religion_ps_2004/prayer.asp

So you don't have anything to worry about.

Any business can refuse service for any reason they want. Why would you be able to refuse service to a drunken bafoon - but not a lesbian?

I suppose both the drunken bafoon and the lesbians both felt aggrevied .... welcome to the reality of adulthood. Not everyone is going to agree with the choices YOU make in your life - and here is the thing about freedom -- they don't have too.

It's worried about because the issue is NOT settled. Atheists organizations KEEP suing about this stuff - and that drives a counter reaction doesn't it.

Saying don't worry about it when there are obviously groups out there dedicated to blocking the expression of your religion? Or spreading misinfomration about your religion?

How about, instead of telling Christians not to worry about something that is happening - we hold those who are launching such frivilous law suits accountable and tell them to stop instead?

Serving a drunk more booze is the same as serving a Lesbian?

Where is your liability with the Lesbian and do you make an inquiry concerning the sexual orientation of every customer? You know.. like "carding"..........

Do you read your own sources?

"The defense of the unity of God against the Gnostics led Origen to maintain the subordination of the Logos to God, and the doctrine of the eternal generation is later. [30] Origen distinctly emphasised the independence of the Logos as well as the distinction from the being and substance of God. The term "of the same substance with the Father" was not employed. The Logos (and the Holy Spirit also) however, does share in the divinity of God. He is an image, a reflex of God, in which God communicates his divinity, as light radiating from the sun."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origen#Theological_and_dogmatic

What is is that the Trinity states? Three distinct bodies with three distint roles, all from one source. Origen was clearly against Arianism, your own source says so.

And that is why, once again, you are being challenged to look at more than a single sentence and indeed read the larger text of your own sources.

Maybe if you guys would your religion out of schools then there wouldn't be lawsuits. Religion doesn't belong in schools, period. The only thing that belongs in schools are reading, writing, science, and math. Schools should be a safe haven for children, and not a place of indoctrination. This is more "the law is not in favor of Christians so we must all be victims of atheist crap".

We Christians have all kinds of television stations, all kinds of radio stations, and all kinds of other things in America that are pro-Christians and it isn't enough for some Christians? The only reason you guys target schools because it is a captive audience.

Stop making yourselves out to be the victims whenever the law doesn't find in your favor. You aren't.

I'm learning a lot from you though, please, keep it up. I'd like to learn more about how evil all atheists everywhere are and how they're keeping all Christians down everywhere. All 285 million Christians in America.

And it's not just atheists. There's plenty of Christians who support these things too.

And if one religion should be taught in schools, then all religions should be taught in schools.

But we already tried the separate but equal once in America, and it failed miserably.

By all means, eradicate such things as Music, Athletics, Alternative Life Styles, History, Civics, Home Economics, and most definitely eliminate all of the 'cultural/social clubs' that promote various agenda. I sort of like your proposal. Such a proposal would save the States and Federal government millions of dollars each day and subsequently reduce the tax burden on the tax payers.

If you want people to accept your choices, then you have to accept that others will make their own choices.

It also means that people will make different but entirely valid choices.

Tell me, does a person have a right to reject the homosexual lifestyle?

Do we have a right to force homosexuals to be straight?

Do we have a right to force someone to be friends with someone else? Because the unfriended party feels bad?

So, when someone says, "Sorry, but this is a family oriented environment we are creating here and having a lesbian couple show up introduces question that we don't want our clientele to face ..."

Well, no one can force a business to change its model. All you can do is take your money elsewhere. That's it.

You cannot sue people into accepting you.

Why, in a world filled with religion would we NOT teach our children about all the various religions of the world?

And in case you noticed it, and the usual atheist propoganda, every time someone tries to teach religion in school - athtards sue.

But here is the point - my children have every right to bring their religion into school. An atheist student has every right to bring his athtardism into school.

Only one side is sueing to try to block the other.

If only atheists would practice what they preach, there wouldn't be a problem at all.

Oh wait - they do ... and that is the problem:

"American Atheists is not afraid to point out that which is true: religion is ridiculous. Mythology and religion are synonymous, and none is better than another. Religion is malicious, malevolent, and unworthy of respect.

    You probably knew that already.

We're respectful of the American people's individual rights to practice as they see fit (equal to our rights to do the same), but this does not mean we have to respect the decision. If you choose to ignore logic and knowledge in order to believe in an invisible magic man in the sky, or Santa Claus for that matter, you've made a ridiculous decision and we're not going to pretend it's "just another way of looking at things."

So, in other words - if only you religious people would give up your right to freedom of expression and religion - athtards would be MUCH happier?

Sounds like a personal problem for atheists.

A moment of silence, or some voluntary assembly unconstitutional? Please. How is a moment of silence specifically religious. What about a moment of silence to honor those that died on 9/11? The supreme court justices that decide on these matters are absolute nutcases.

We don't have to approve of homosexuals for them to have the same civil rights as everyone else.

We don't have to associate with them or accept their advances ...

But, you can't turn someone away from a public business on the assumption that you know their sexual orientation.

Perhaps we should issue some form of identification for gays as opposed to straights.

What if I am traveling with female friend, or my daughter or even my brother and share a room... what is it exactly that I have to PROVE?

Isn't everyone entitled to the same level of service?
