It is rather common to hear conservatives rag on Obama. But for many of us, we know of another Obama, one who is quite honorable. Here is a video of the Obama’s and their characteristic goodness.
That video is super cloying. Obligatory preface, because partisan hackery is a real problem here: Obama had a lot of policies I disagreed with, including drone strikes, handling of a lot of foreign relations things, etc. I voted for him in 2008, but voted Libertarian in 2012. Anyway, I heard tons about the man's patience and compassion. From talking to children on their level to meeting individually with the families of mass shooting victims. Whatever political flaws he had, he and his family always seemed very genuine. I'm sure that contributed to the shock of contrast to the administration that came after his.
Obama lied about almost every facet of Obamacare, hated whites, and got us into three new Middle East conflicts. Great guy.
Both of the Bush presidents had memorable moments in humane situations like that. It didn't keep the media from portraying them as Hitler wannabes and racists did it?
