Tolerance is a virtue. People are not perfect and if you expect them to be you are drinking Unicorn milk.
Yet people demand that I be tolerant of them and that I be perfect while excusing themselves away. That only negates their demands and exposes them as hypocrites. Sorry, but it's very wrong to demand other sets of rules for other people that you absolutely refuse to follow yourselves. It's completely asinine.
As with so many things, tolerance is a matter of degree with the scale running from total intolerance to total tolerance. Either extreme, in general terms, can be deleterious to not only one's own welfare but the welfare of others around us.

Lighten up TL. Sometimes what I do is state my position on a topic or point in which I know I am right. After that, I might read the responses, but I don't respond because I've already said my piece and don't really care about the pc or bs responses. I simply disengage and leave the reader to struggle with my position.
