Guess you've proven that 'trolling' is a 24/7 occupation, huh?

It's morning here out West, and so the "civil" punishment shall continue...(verbal discipline is much more "civil" than the wood shed or Singapore caning!)

But still not the answer to civility in America. You are showing yourself to be every bit a part of the problem as any atheist might be. Why not embrace the Fruits of the Spirit and really show them something?

    Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 meekness, self-control; against such there is no law.

Meekness may be my short suit, but what fruit did Jesus exhibit while making cords into a whip and 'physically' driving out the money changers! Or calling out the religious folk of His time in a direct manner?

As usual. bruce the 'poser,' doing exactly what you criticize others for, you point fingers while failing the fruit yourself! Would that be called 'hypocrisy?!'

So they don't apply to you?
I would say your posts fall quite short in joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self control, but that's just my scorecard.
Comparing yourself to Jesus is a stretch, and doesn't make up for the Fruits seeming irrelevant to you.
As for my shortcomings, they don't excuse yours. I am not the one claiming faithfulness nor blaming others for incivility while projecting it.

I will give you 'patience' to some extent ,and have 'self control' as I havnt told some ppl what I really think of them, but I see myself as fulfilling the rest..am I not 'joyful' and have 'peace' in what i believe?! Preach 'goodness' etc. Have I not emphasized the grace and forgiveness of God?!

You are but projecting to make yourself look better than you really are:

As you always 'accuse' elijah of his being disingenuous in one manner or another, so are you---a 'failed' $395 ordained minister who lacked 'faithfulness' to continue in the ministry! You used mortal men in your failure of faith! Pretty 'faithless!'

    Luke 9:62
But Jesus told him, "Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God."

And, what is your 'fruit of the spirit' (little 's')...accusing the bretheren?!

The Fruits are what you should project if Indwelt by the Healer, the Counselor. They are what people should see when encountering you, not traits that are your personal secret.
I did lose my faith in traditional Christianity, so if you want to compare yourself to me welcome to the other side. I don't know if I failed as a preacher, but I definitely quit, as I could no longer preach with integrity. Shall I extend my hand to welcome you?
Otherwise, this is your standard, your cross to bear. This is your avowed faith you are rejecting, not mine, and what you lament as missing in America, as the Fruits serve as a wonderful model for civility.
You can attack me all you like. I have no illusions about myself. It won't raise you up a hair. All you are saying is I am as much of a failure as you.
I'll agree to this. Will you?
As for you projecting peace or joy, I would have to emphatically disagree, as it would lead to a more consistent civility in your posts.

This back and forth seems to me a wonderful example of what is regularly presented as an example of the "Real" Christian. Basically, many of the faith claim they have a "Better" version, or understanding of the "Word of God", and decide to judge the other Christians as NOT Christian because of this higher opinion of themselves.
Why would anyone purposefully enter into a world where it is guaranteed they will be looked down upon by everyone else from all sides.

If the Idea is to help God gain converts.....this is not a very good way to go about it.

You have posted on here attacking Christians with impunity (ala Saul) , and now you want grace from those you have offended!

And, as you know, those of Christ will grant you that grace....but repentance is reqd b4 God for absolution of your offenses.

You point to other 'mortal Christians' as being imperfect,' but only One has met that std. And so you being the accuser of the brethren,. aka in the position of a 'tool of Satan,' is no justification for your behavior on this forum.

I still see no repentance (your bruised ego reflects such) on your part, but 'hope' for your returning to the fold.

But, you need to 'update' your blog as it seems to make you out as a solid believer..didnt chk out your 'Contacts' menu to see if you asked for $$---hope you didnt under the guise of being an ordained minister & follower of Jesus Christ.

Btw, You called yourself out with your own 'finger of accusation,' ..not ME!

    No money.
Perhaps a believer, but not as you describe it.
Does this post of yours reflect the kindness and gentleness you aspire to, and advance your cause of civility in America? Tell me how.
You can continue to make it about me, but this is your scripture. Why does it make you angry to be held accountable to it?
    Oh, and thanks for visiting.

If you are sorry about posting something so tiresome lame and shallow
as "atheism is a religion", you should be.

The belief in no Deity is a belief in itself. Atheists like to claim they have 'no belief' however most believe in secular humanism. Atheists have their own beliefs in the understanding of existence.

If Atheists had 'no belief' they would not call themselves Atheists, they'd just be sanguine about their non-beliefs. Yet we have Atheists trying to impose their vision of existence on everyone else by going to court and trying to change laws. If they didn't believe so strongly in the absence of a Deity then they wouldn't fight so hard to get a Deity removed from the public.

Atheism is not a religion, and any argument that it is, is dumb.

    The anger is YOURS!

I use the same 'kindness & gentleness' that Jesus used when He made a whip out of cords--except He physically' used it on other men. What 'Fruit of the Spirit" was He violating?

And tough love is often reqd to jar ppl out of their 'slumber.'

You like to point fingers at others to justify your failure of faith, and say "See, see, see...." but you know that God 'sees' thru that poor excuse in blaming other men for your sad spiritual condition.

And so, will you continue to come on here and look for excuses for your failings, blaming others; or will you 'man up' and take responsibility for where you are at in your life---'acting' is transparent b4 God!

But, again, as I've said b4, I'm not going to enable you in endless 'tit-for-tats' & deflections so that you can vent your anger...God knows 'my' heart (my thoughts & intentions) and I answer to Him for my conduct.

Btw, I've been 'above board' concerning my life on this forum, where you have been secretive about yours----hiding or running?!!

I blame no one. You will find no posts of mine bragging about my righteousness. I have no way to judge it.
I did get a kick out of you shouting at me in capital letters that you weren't angry. That was a funny bit.
For someone that doesn't want to go tit for tat, that was a big tit.
At least you consistently reject the Fruits and decline to give them any weight, and prefer to cast yourself as an avenging God rather than a man of humility.
    Should we pray to you?

When you can't defend yourself it feels like badgering.

Not to 'tit-' your last tat, but I've admitted my short comings in this thread concerning the Fruit of the Spirit.....no sinless martyr here! But keep looking for excuses to justify your condition! Remember David, by no means sinless, was called "a man after God's own heart."

And, taikoo, I've enjoyed our postings and 'bantering,' but my intent was to tale you from your original 'anti-Christian' (Jewish Sky-God) attacks to a place of tolerance, as your attacks end up belittling your husband's faith, not just mine. Christians are not 'open season' as the PC world would like you to believe.....altho it has become basic 'accepted bigotry!' I hope that you can see that.

So maybe I'm the new David. Never met a sin he didn't like and yet embraced by God nonetheless.
    Who knows?
    No one. That's who.

I'm still waiting for your take on Jesus using a whip on men..what Fruit of the H. Spirit was He using at that time?!

Or does Jesus get 'your' pass..?!!!

EDIT: Btw, remember my conversation on the 'end time church' coming out of the sea of denominations..YOU could be part of that as seeing the flaws of modern Christian formal churches!

He didn't whip them. Poor reading skills. He drove them out. If you think otherwise, post the verse.
    Kindly.
