    The leftists are so PRO OPEN-BORDERS that they will even shut down what they love the most (government!) to get that! Wow! The left's open-borders agenda couldn't be more obvious than it is today.

    Question: will this exposing of the left's strong open-borders agenda (they seem to try to down play that agenda) help Trump very much?

    I say "yes", it will help his agenda by exposing their extremism regarding open-borders. The "average Joe" might not have been paying much attention to the left's open-border stand, but by brilliantly drawing attention to this, Trump will score huge political points for the GOP.

    we dont want a massive expensive concrete Freudian wall.

    more money for more border patrol, a guest worker system, changing the Visa system, amnesty for illegals who have been here for decades and havent commited felonies, amnesty for those brought here illegally as children,and some border fencing.

    Democrats have no problem with more fencing. Or limiting chain migration to just parents and children.

    but they wont waste $50 billion on a massive Freudian wall.

    Trump owns the shutdown because he willingly accepted the Mantel.

    Schumer owns the treasonous behavior because he is not willing to put country first.

    And Pelosi ate crow for saying the House would never pass a bill with funding for a border wall.

    Trump only wants $5 billion. And we spend $135 billion yearly. I say we do what I suggested above and "save" $185 billion for the first year.

    Cause fencing makes it easier to jump over? Whats the point of a fence if it can be taken apart by some small bolt cutters? Why does the left want more border guards when they call them Nazis?

    That was after Nancy Pelosi told Trump that he didn't have the votes in the House for $5 billion for the wall.

    Looks like Nancy is eating crow again and the Democrats will own the shutdown if they vote against funding the wall in the Senate.
