I came across this strangely titled article, but having read it, it’s probably the best and fascinating assessment of where the world is at now and a prediction of the future, based largely on reality. No, it doesn’t mention Mr. Trump or Biden. A quick five to ten minute read. No use attacking the poster on this one, I didn’t write it. :)

    World War 3 for dummies

Some knowledgeable people, apparently including the Pope, are beginning to suspect that there may be more going on in the world than just the war in the Ukraine. They say that World War 3 has already started and things will get worse from now on.”

We’ve always known there are three peripheries; the raw material source, the developing and the first-world consumers. What no one ever talked about was how does a post-industrial society finance its first-world lifestyle?

We don’t do colonialism any more, we do ‘regime changes’ and ‘interventions’ to get what we need. Yet even that isn’t enough and we’re now borrowing what little money is still available from the Central Banks, or simply printing more of it. In other words, we’re maxed out and bankrupt trying to pretend we’re the world’s economic powerhouse of half a century ago and trying to keep up the earned lifestyle we had then.

We look around and we see Russia and China who have been getting rid of the dollar and US bonds and stockpiling gold for years because they knew what was going to happen. Russia is a major oil exporter and isn’t about to go bankrupt. China is a major economic power and the same applies. If only we could destroy them economically, do a regime change, get in there and … That’s where we’re at now.

The mess we see around us now is a consequence of a declining west, not the cause.
