    You are correct, frodly.

Especially when you say, " I agree with Java about Ron Paul. I don't understand why liberals like him either. I suppose it is to do with his anti-war, drug legalization, and anti-corporate stance. The problem is, those are only a few issues, and on other issues, he is in direct. "

I'm not exactly a Paul advocate, but if your assumptions are accurate, this does sound remarkably similar to that conservative motto of "the government that governs least governs best."

Well, you can increase your independence from those other countries.

However, that would require your OWN people to invest in your OWN country.

If there is anything that is PROVEN, it is the willingness of American business, the American wealthy, and American consumers to invest and buy everything foreign to save a nickel and shoot themselves in the foot.

India BANNED currency and investment from leaving the country by law. China PREVENTED currency and investment from leaving their country by currency controls and central government ecouragemnet of outside investment (keeping 51% for itself, always.)

See who is LOSING the battle! Both those countries are growing economically at astronomical rates.

perhaps that impression is the result of a biased treatment by the media? I think that there are many misunderstandings about the Tea Party movement, and one is that it is a collection of radical libertarians, another is that it is owned by the religious right. both are untrue.

I'd be less inclined to associate radicalism with them if they supported fewer radical candidates...

    HA!

Obama has not done all I wanted him to do.
He has not done everything the way I wanted him to do it.

But the choice between him and Romney? Or him and every other GOP candidate save Huntsman?

People are getting to know and dislike Romney just like people have always gotten to know and dislike him.

When FAUX says "Obama is in trouble" with his base you can bet all you want that the truth is that Republicans are quickly abandoning both Romney and the rest of his ticket.

I'm not a leftist or a liberal, but once thing is for sure: As a working man, I could never vote for The Outsource King.
