Republican attempts to use Louis Farrakhan as a weapon against Democrats will backfire. The only people it will appeal to is people who will vote Republican no matter what, so it serves no purpose on that portion of the electorate. What it will do is raise black voter consciousness of Louis Farrakhan, who seeing the attempt of Republicans to smear the Democrats in this way, will become more energized than they normally would in the mid term elections.

The Farrakhan strategy will backfire on Republicans.

    It's about the Jews.

I disagree with your premise - there are many Jews who are starting to realize that anti-semitism is becoming popular again. Louis Farakhan represents a real and present danger in America to these people who, given the circumstance, could change their votes from Liberal Democrat to Trump Republican in a heartbeat.

Although your contention is interesting, I disagree in the strongest terms. The type of voter that you are referring to will never be a Trump Republican. Their detest of Trump may be stronger than mine. Louis Farrakhan will never be perceived as a major threat to these people, and rightly so. Farrakhan's appeal is limited because his ideology is significantly flawed. While he can appeal to blacks at a certain level, most realize that his ideology is too flawed to be imbibed to the level that it would pose a significant threat to Jewish people. Therefore I contend that what you have stated is incorrect.

Farakhan is an evil, bigoted POS. No Congressman should associate with him.

That said, the GOP is notorious for ****ing up anything that has even the slightest racial dynamic.

The collective gives racist and racism a pass as long as its aimed at the right races. They even say that because of your race, you can't be racist... Which is just totally dumb/brainwashing.

One could say that Trump is an evil bigoted POS that no congressman should associate with. IMO Netanyahu is an evil POS, but he got to address congress. We got what we got and that's the way it is.

Over and above that Farrakhan has publicly ridiculed Obama, directly calling him an assassin and saying that Obama had been "turned" by the establishment. Its a totally absurd smear that will backfire.

There is no republican strategy here. Its just that several members of the democrat party in Congress are sucking up the the hate filled racist Farrakhan. That is not smart nor good.

I think it'll backfire, because all the Democrats have to do is find the video of Farrakhan endorsing Trump because he, "is the only member who has stood in front of the Jewish community and said, 'I don't want your money.'"

The Republicans should back away from this completely LOL.

That's part of what is so stupid about this absurd smear. The thing is this, they only people that will buy into this nonsense is people who will vote Republican no matter what. The effect that it will have is to energize the black vote, because they will see Republicans trying to use Farrakhan in this way.

Tbh, the Democrats want the Farrakhan angle to drop. Despite the photos of him and Obama seen together, he is pretty anti-Obama, anti-liberal, and makes pretty tough cases against the Democratic Party in general. One could easily be persuaded to vote Republican based on some of what Farrakhan preaches. He is no help to Democrats imho.

Farrakhan is a non-issue and an abhorrent ******* except to racists who are trying to gin up racist "connections".

And what do you know...sock puppets seem to have an interest in keeping this bullshit issue going as well.

    So surprising.

What do you know, the old jew Rothschild banking cartel mafia has an interest in making their feelings known. You would think that if they actually thought that the issue was BS and should not be talked about that they would be smart enough to keep their mouths shut. But, what can be expected. They are not the smartest bunch.

Nobody will vote Republican because of Farrakhan what preaches because what Farrakhan preaches is very anti-establishment and anti Republican. Republicans believe in strong support of Israel. That is something that Farrakhan abhors like poison.

Fair point. Well, at worse, they may forego voting for Democrats listening to him beat them up the way he does.

Hell he's pretty hostile to everyone but his cult followers. Hell the only way I'd see him is in a celebrity death match with whatever septuagenarian is currently grand dragon of the KKK and I'd root for a double count there by eliminating two loathesome human beings from the planet.
