One of the promises of obamaSCAM was that ALL would have health insurance. ACA expanded Medicaid to cover those that make more than Medicaid eligibility, but not enough to afford health insurance. FINE! However ACA requires the STATES to cover that expanded coverage cost. The feds will cover the regular Medicaid funding as before, the STATES pick up the expansion.
This does 2 things. 1. it gets millions more covered, and 2. it hides the true cost of ACA because the CBO does not account for the state costs. [but those cost WILL have to be paid, and states have balanced budget LAWS so they cannot borrow to pay]
ACA also stated that if the states refused to cover the expanded costs, they would lose their present federal Medicaid funding.
THAT IS THE PART THE SCOTUS FOUND UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND STRUCK DOWN.

So now to have more people covered as the ACA promised, states would have to voluntarily cover much higher costs. More than half the states have already refused to do that.

Another promise of obamaSCAM was that it would keep health insurance and health care costs down.,,,,,,,,,,,THIS WEEK, the major insurers announced premium increases of 20% to 22%. That is ON TOP on numerous premium increases since the ACA was passed. And those premium increases will continue, and probably increase even more, OR, companies will leave the health insurance field, allowing for massive increases by the now less competitive firms that stay.

The requirement that the young and healthy have insurance OR pay a fine [TAX], makes it clear that the fine will be much cheaper. The fine will go into the general fund and do nothing to lower or stabilize insurance premiums.

One can research the information on OECD, http://www.oecd.org/health/ and find that MOST countries with govt supplied health care actually pay a higher percentage of their household income for health care, than we do here in the USA. And the USA is a member of OECD. There are millions of bits of health care info on this site. Much of it contradicts the claims of govt health care proponents.

I have nothing against the govt supplying health care in principle [other than it requires a larger and larger govt], but our history shows that our govt, perhaps NO govt, can or ever has, run a business more effectively or efficiently as the private sector.

I would not look forward to a trip to the doctor being exactly like a trip to the DMV. And that IS the assured results. Assured by history.

Does what Bush did make everything OK? And if you cared to do any kind of actual factual research about anything, you'd know that I have stated over and over again, that Bush was bad.

And we do have the scary govt supplied health care here in America. The MAJOR cause of increasing insurance and health care cost IS Medicare and Medicaid. Medicare in less than 50 years since inception has increased in expense more than 2000 times its projected 10 year cost, YEARLY. Nothing else has seen increases like that. obamaSCAM will do exactly the same, or much worse.

In the short 12 years since Bush was elected, we have tripled our national debt.[Over 40% of that belongs to obama, but bush is guilty too] Even without the massive costs obamaSCAM will cause, we can face another tripling in the next 12 years. Try a national debt of $49.2 TRILLION. We did it in the last 12 years and there is NOTHING on the horizon to keep us from doing it again and obamaSCAM gives us an excellent tool.

WE face another bubble and crash. Almost certain to happen within 10 years. One that will make the financial bubble and crash and the housing bubble and crash, TOGETHER, look like a hiccup. And that is the interest bubble and crash.

Presently we take in right at ONE TRILLION DOLLARS in income tax. Just a normal 5% interest rate on a $30 trillion debt is $1.5 trillion per year. That is more than we've EVER taken in in income tax. And if we triple the debt again, 5% interest is $2.46 trillion, just in interest. We are ASSURED that the national debt will be over $21 trillion by the time obama leaves office in just 4 years. 5% interest on that alone is MORE than a trillion. $1.05 trillion.
