The Specter Of Revolution Haunts The Mullahs In Tehran

Massive demonstrations are rocking Tehran and other Iranian cities, and yesterday, the mullahs lost the support of a key power bloc, as the Grand Bazaar of Tehran shut down in protest. In the 1979 Iranian Revolution that overthrew the Shah, when the Bazaari's threw their support to the mullahs, it was clear that revolution would succeed. Students demonstrating in the street can be shot, locked up and tortured (as they were in 1979 and are again today), but the bazaar merchants interact with the public every day and provide the essentials of life.
President Barack Obama's shunning of the Green Revolution Movement of 2009-10 probably doomed it to failure and kept the mullahs able to work on their nuclear arsenal. There is no danger of President Trump helping the Islamic Republic keep its hold on power. His withdrawal from the JCPOA deal helped spark the protests, and the tightening of economic sanctions has crippled the economy and caused the Iranian rial to sink like a stone on currency markets.

I have always believed many Iranians are pro western, as the expats living in the West, who were fortunate enough to leave, are.
The Iranian regime brutally cracked down on the protesters. It has killed more than 50 people and injured many more. The regime also arrested more than 3,700 people, including young girls and women.
Again, there has been little to no statements from Western media to the so-called feminists condemning the Iranian regime.
The bearded turbans of Iran know how the game is played and will put up a fight. The only chance is if the soldiers refuse to shoot and/or switch sides as they did in Russia at the fall of Stalinist regime.
With Trump as President the Iranian Mullahs know we support the people this time. Just keep nudging the Mullahs and the Revolutionary Guard over the cliff. The Israelis continue to shellac the Iranians in Syria and continue to inflict heavy casualties, two more missiles a day ago taking out a cargo plane and military depot.

"Iran's semi-official news agencies, Fars, ISNA and Tasnim, described the protests at the Grand Bazaar as erupting after the Iranian rial dropped to 90,000 to the US dollar on the country's black market, despite the Government's attempts to control the currency rate." See:

Did you claim the same for the Venezuelan riots?
Obama abandoned the people of Iran in 2009/2010 to the Mullahs and their paid killers
In the meantime were you just as against the people rioting in 2009 and 2010 when thousands of Iranians were killed in the towns and streets of Iran? Did Obama close his eyes to the carnage and brutality all for a one sided "Deal" with the Mullahs?

That's what I said.. the rial went to 90,000 per dollar.

Were you ready for a ground war in Iran in 2010?

Its not over yet.. and there's still a lot that could go wrong.

I wasn't then nor am I in favor to war with Iran now. Are you prepared to go to war against the U.S. with Iran?
BTW the same thing has happened in Venezuela I didn't see you so emotional about their plight. One has to wonder why?
