One of the fundamental issues is the nature of the medical procedure. If a woman asks her doctor to perform an abortion, and he does so, who has the right to interfere in that decision? If she is prosecuted, can she be compelled to testify against herself? Can the doctor be forced to testify against himself or the woman? In either case, it's demanding that the defendants prove their innocence.

 

Government prints what it requires, through its violent police powers, you to use as money. It is not "the money", as if there is nothing else.

I am pretty certain that Roe V. Wade was based on one issue. Privacy. As one Justice put it, he nor his clerks managed to locate privacy in the Constitution.

As to testifying against oneself, I suppose it does happen when police talk to suspects.

Of course it has. The US began as a confederacy. America won its independence from Britain as a confederacy. The entire international order works through treaties and leagues that preserve the independence of its members.
