Except there are light-skinned Mexicans who look like white Americans.

So Mexico, like most of Latin America, is a white supremacist society?

True, but with the same cultural upbringing since they are both Mexicans.

Too bad he's not from Norway--he'd be acceptable to the Bloviator.

I freely admit to be biased in that direction. Diversity can be good. Sometimes very, very good.

The pro amnesty crowd has been talking about E-Verify for 30 years

And other big ideas they never go through with

Build the wall and stop the invasion at the border before they get into the interior

Then you can try your disincentive schemes if you want

I have not made anything to be about genetics. I pointed out the very fact that ethnicity only becomes important in a social context where it is made obvious that a and b are not similar. Often, the easiest and first thing one notices is appearence and therefore it is often appearence that is the primary factor of both ethnic distinction and ethnic labelling. A Chinese who is born and raised in America may adapt American customs and behaviour, but never will they change their appearence and when they pass by a stranger on the street, the stranger sees an Asian. This is very basic.

    You don't say?

Incorrect. Gravity is a constant, verifiable force. "Race" is a social construct differentiating human beings, who are all 99.9% alike, but skin tone and a few physical, especially facial, characteristics.

The US never surrendered to the communists. Going back to your comment about "America has no culture"; that's an old Euro POV. An excellent reference since they epitomized racist cultures for centuries....and still do.

Well I guess you are technically correct. We just got our butts kicked and then cut and ran. And America calling other cultures racist after our history of slavery would be hilarious.

Of course race is a social construct verifiable through DNA as you point out. The differences between the races is a scientific question about which we learn more everyday.

    Why would it be hilarious?

A tall man can call other men tall. A racist culture can call other cultures racist.

The Japanese and Koreans are quite racist and their culture displays it much more than in the US.

The US is obviously light years ahead in genetic research than the "Old Country".

There are no races defined by genetics.
