The Columbine and many other mass shootings happened while the Brady bill gun ban was in place. The Sandy Hook shooter did not use an "assault rifle", he used multiple handguns. A high capacity magazine ban would not have prevented any of the killings in any of the incidents because there was noone at any of the sites capable of disarming the gunmen while they stopped to reload, and if he had multiple handguns, as the Sandy Hook shooter did, he could have used a loaded gun to fend them off while he reloaded another gun. So, now that we know these truths, what is this push to ban certain magazines and weapons REALLY about? Any honest liberals out there?
If we pass just one more law the criminals and the crazy won't break any more laws. So goes the logic of the hoplophobic. I mean how could anyone expect murder laws to stop someone when we all know the gun ban laws will.
