I am not much on Slave History.
    It seems there were basically two kinds;
    1) A situation like Rome, where someone might be a slave regardless of race or nationality.
    2) Racially based slavery. On this point it seems everyone was comfortable enslaving Black people from ancient Iraq and their sugar fields to near modern times.
Why was their no enslavement of other racial groups. Although some tried with the Native Americans, they just got sick and died.
I'm looking for ideas on point 2.

Why did so many cultures, throughout history agree enslavement of Black people was the right thing to do?

    Whites were also enslaved.

Whenever one society overcame another, the loser were placed in chains and set to serve the winners.

Heck, a lot of the original colonists here in North America were financial slaves - indentured servants sent here to work off their debts for excruciating periods of time.

Culture and availability. The blacks were available and were of a relatively primitive culture in the worldview of Europe that spread to the Americas. Even after slavery was ended, the eurotrash still effectively maintained it with things like workhouses for the poor Irish during the famine because the Irish were perceived as culturally inferior to London, and the US maintained it for poor people of all races through the peonage system. The American churches and such sending over famine pots did more for the Irish masses than the rest of modern UK did at the time.

Vikings and Khazars were also big slavers.

Who were these "blacks" in ancient Iraq and where were their "sugarfields"?

I think he means the ancient Iranians, also called Aryans. I've not heard much of that, perhaps he'd further enlighten us with a link?

The word "slave" comes from "Slav" who were the main people those Vikings (called "Varangians" and "Rus") who went East and down the Russian rivers enslaved. Slav is what they called themselves, and I think means "glorious" or maybe just "people" Vikings called slaves "thralls" but it was known that "slavs" made the best "slaves" so the name stuck.

The Basra area on the gulf in ancient times.
If a search does not reveal it for you, let me know and I will go through my history "books". Remember books?

Were Viking and Khazar slave trades racially based. No !
When it comes to the Khazars I am inclined to believe less than what I read of them.

Sure, everyone had slaves at one time or the other.
Next to marriage, it is the oldest relationship among people.
How about a focus on racially vs culturally based slavery per the upload you edit, then quote.

The Zanj Rebellion or the Negro Rebellion was the culmination of series of small revolts. It took place near the city of Basra, located in present-day southern Iraq, over a period of fifteen years (AD 869–883).
