It is yet another attempt by a cult that's main goal is to take over governments to increase its already influence in Great Britain.
That's actually a little worrying because it undermines laws already in place. But as they are only guidelines then it shouldn't be legally binding.........theoretically. Even so I doubt if Britain is to to be a caliphate as ultimately Muslims are still the minority and if in the extreme and unlikely event that there's a terrorist insurgency, well we do have experience in dealing with things like that.
Muslims know better than to conduct an outright rebellion. They will continue to do what they are doing in every nation not ruled by an Islamic government. Slowly and carefully seek to establish their rules and regulations at every level of society. Restrict police from forcing women to uncover their faces for photo ID. Allow Imams and other clerics to approve and enact divorces outside the local legal authority. Just naming two of many instances. How many other things have happened in the UK where Muslims get protection from British laws because of their religious beliefs?
I'm not too worried. No sane person wants sharia law in this country, and the longer the muslim community lives in Britain the more westernised they will become. Give it 20 years or so, Muslim exremism will be a minor issue.
Greece had sharia law for muslims only until recently , it came in conflict with EU constitution and ended.

Funny, before mass immigration into this once great country, there was NO muslim extremism because there where no/very little Muslims in the country, let's go back to those days.

Sadly religious courts have existed in the UK for centuries. It really is time for the UK to separate State and Religion. Get the Bishops out of the house of Lords would be a great start. It really does bother me that Jew, Christians and Muslim's can circumvent our law's. They say it is only if both parties are willing but the pressure that can be applied by religious communities can be extreme. Look at the way Catholic Canon law has been used to cover up child abuse. Get religion out of the state in the UK.

Try picking out all the negative news articles written about America in the US media then tell me how well the image that creates reflects the place you actually live in day-to-day? The media only reports extremes, these days almost exclusively negative extremes and usually with added exaggeration and alarmism. It's how they make money. The reality of the places they're reporting about for the vast majority of people and the vast majority of time dont match that imagery in the slightest.

Fixing racists will change the inherent brain volume differences between Blacks and Whites, not to mention testosterone levels and MAOA (warrior gene) frequencies. Black crime rates will drop to White levels as soon as racists are no longer in Britain. Don't you know it.

I have to say, I admire your optimism! It seems a rather large bet to make on your country but go ahead. My bet is that in 20 years or so, I'll be watching news reports on civil war across Europe. I hope you are right though.

According to latest UK census the faster growing group are atheists , i am sure Dawkins & Co will be very tolerant with any (alleged) attempt muslims do to hijack the state.
