Marine fossils are evidence of tectonic plate movements over hundreds of millions of years. Evidence of floods consists of sediment layers that would (a) have to all be the same age everywhere around the entire world, and (b) be extremely thick layers given the magnitude of a flood as alleged in the bible. There is not enough water on the planet to achieve a flood of at least 5 miles above current sea levels in order to cover Everest. Furthermore where did all of that water go again afterwards? Then you have the problem of that volume of fresh water diluting all of the sea water and killing off the sea life. Where is the evidence for the worldwide planetary extinction event for both sea and land creatures? There is no physical evidence of a flood as described in the bible.

Or evidence of a flood. Which we have that. We have miles and miles of sedimentary rock. Plus you're assuming the rocks are different ages. Who said that it have to cover Mt. Everest? Mt. Everest wasn't there or at least it wasn't very high. During the ending stages of the flood the ground buckled and shifted to what we see today due to them being soft. As far as where did the water go we still have it. If you smooth out the earth the water would be over a mile deep everywhere. As for fresh water, it was fresh water to begin with and slowly turned salty. In fact the oceans today are getting saltier. As for all the dead animals, that's all the fossils we find. There are mass grave yards all over the world. Yes there is.

That's not what I claimed. I used that as comparison. There were rolling hills and such and due to them being soft and pliable and the tides working and continental drift is what created the mountains.
