The Wonderful World of COVID Malfeasance and Padding the Books With Phony Reports.

Ok, anecdotal, but worth considering.

I have been fighting a tenacious upper bronchial infection for the past few weeks. I rarely get sick, but I was unlucky enough to come in contact with someone who transmitted this bacterial infection to me and it eventually turned into pneumonia. In the past three weeks, I have been tested three times for the Wuhan Novel Coronavirus of 2019. The good news is I DO NOT HAVE COVID.

So on my third visit to the the doctor, I noticed something curious on my post-visit paperwork:

What You Were Seen for Today
Acute bronchitis due to other specified organisms.
Bacterial pneumonia.
Exposure to COVID-19 virus.

I brought this to the attention of the discharge nurse. "I have had three negative COVID tests in the past two weeks. Why does this say exposure to COVID????"

"Oh we put that on everyone's paperwork, because it is likely you have been exposed."

UHHHH? WHAT????

Multiply this by thousands of patients of this large regional healthcare provider.

I don't believe for a minute this does not get reported to the public health authorities. And that policy is being made based on this faulty data being reported, as well as the kind of mass hysteria we have witnessed over the last two years.

Meanwhile, China is still reporting nine deaths from COVID in Beijing since the beginning of the pandemic. NINE. DEATHS. In a city of 25-35 million people packed like sardines and sharing filthy public toilets. And the world media reports it without batting an eye.

We will never know the real story here. But my experience cannot be an isolated incident. You are being gaslighted at every turn.

you were tested for covid because, given the symptoms that was certainly possible. without that diagnosis your insurance would not have covered that part of the work.

isn't it better to have covid than pneumonia? a little ivermectin and you're good as new, no need to go to the doctor at all.

 

I think you misread the point of my post. I DO NOT HAVE COVID - this was confirmed through three separate laboratory tests. Yet it was stated on my discharge sheet that I was seen for "exposure to COVID-19 virus."

I had the Wuhan Novel Coronavirus of 2019 in Feb. 2020, first wave. It was like a gut punch, but I was over it in four days. I would rather go through that again than the pneuomia/bronchitis I've been fighting for the past two weeks.

Which is no factual refutation of my empirical observations. Based on the clinic's response to my interrogatory, it is reasonable to conclude that thousands of COVID-negative patients are being reported with "exposure to COVID-19 virus."

 

And they probably were, exposure doesn't mean you're infected.

 

Yes and? Ever heard of an area of research called Epidemiology? There are still a lot of aspects of COVID we are gathering data on - especially with the new variants. Now let us say that there is an increase in reports of, say, myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) in a particular area and those people are self reporting exposure to Covid, and being tested. If they all come back negative then it is an incidental finding BUT if they came back positive then we relook at those samples to see if there is a new variant of concern

I neither tested positive nor self-reported. Seems your whatifism is failing. The fact remains this medical provider is providing false data to the health authorities. Intentionally, and by its own admission.

 

How is it false?

 

I have covid now and it is in me acting much like a bronchitis/pneumonia both of which I’ve had multiple bouts of. I had the Pfizer vaccine and the flu shot and the pneumonia vaccine and I get a breakthrough omicron variant that mimics bronchitis.

 

It seems we are given skewed numbers when deaths linked to Covid are from Covid or how many are with Covid but they had other co-morbidities are getting mixed together...

 

I think you may have missed my point: I DON'T HAVE COVID. But my health provider has made a report as if I have been exposed - with no scientific or medical evidence to support that reporting.

 

They admitted that two years ago.

"Man eaten by shark dies of COVID" is perfectly reasonable to the "authorities."

 

Is it just me, or do the lefties seem to get all giddy when they hear folks have the covid... It's like somehow getting the covid justifies all the BS they otherwise believe in or something.

I lived in Spain for a while, and got spanish flu. It really sucked. Obviously I lived. The lefties seem to think that living is a sin... I suppose it has to do with their Malthusian economic world view. Of course, it's never them who are supposed to die off...

 

So, absent any evidence, or test data, simply asserting a fact is ok now for the left? I mean, it does now seem to be the way you folks operate...

 

There is a belief among some on that side that man is the virus. As long as the right kind of man is dying off, they actually see this as a positive. These people are addicted to their unjustified outrage because it makes them feel superior. They revel in their fear. They wear masks and gloves driving alone in their car...

 

Ironically, these are the people who have the nerve to chastise "follow the science!"

 

Self reporting for Covid... Pray tell.... who do you call to report?

 

I guess it's like in California if you buy a flatscreen in tax-free Oregon, you're supposed to report that to Sacramento and send them the sales tax!

 

I know of no one who actually does that!
Were it not for the politics of the places, it would be great to live and work in Vancouver Wa. with no state income tax and do significant shopping in nearby Portland, Or. where there is no sales tax.
