This restaurant has vanished. I ate there many times. The food was excellent and there was so much to see. Anyway, this video will introduce you to the then largest restaurant in the world. It sat next to a golf course ran by management. It had on the property an air museum that contained rare vintage cars.

It was called the Flying Lady. I would fly to the local airport where the restaurant had a vehicle to pick up pilots and passengers and take them to the restaurant.

The restaurant was a three story structure. It seated 2000 patrons.

There used to be a smaller version of that in Ft Lauderdale. We'd fly in, gas up and eat lunch.

This fascinating restaurant had two actual airplanes suspended from the roof. Since it could seat 2000 customers, it was extremely large.
