Great Documentary, who has watched it? my question : is there a more corrupted country (except Africa) then Muscovy today?

    "
here's nothing sensational about high-level corruption in Russia these days, and it's unlikely that Alexei Navalny's investigation into the luxurious lifestyle of Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev will improve the anti-corruption activist's chances of being elected Russian president in 2018. The exceptional piece of journalistic work, however, does make an important contribution to our understanding of how graft works at the pinnacle of the Russian state hierarchy -- and what these arrangements say about the Putin team's long-term plans and geopolitical outlook.

The investigation, performed by Navalny's group, the Anti-Corruption Foundation, builds on previous work by Russian investigative journalists, who had already revealed a network of non-profit organizations administered by the prime minister's law school classmates, in part to Medvedev's benefit.

Navalny and his team painstakingly collected documentary evidence of luxurious residences Medevedev regularly uses in Central Russia and near Sochi on the Black Sea. These residences are run by what are, on paper, charity organizations that do not have end beneficiaries. The organizations, however, received contributions from some of Russia's wealthiest people, including the founders of the Novatek natural gas company and Alisher Usmanov, whose assets range from early Facebook investor DST (which later became Mail.ru Group) to Russian cellular operator Megafon. The latter, Navalny shows, donated an expensive building that later became a Medvedev residence, to one of the funds. Navalny notes that the non-profits don't appear to do much in terms of good works, and they don't file reports of their activities to the Justice Ministry.

The non-profits have also borrowed large amounts of money from state-owned or well-connected banks. Navalny estimates the total loans and oligarch contributions to the funds run by Medvedev's classmates at 70 billion rubles ($1.2 billion)."https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2017-03-03/there-s-no-separating-wealth-and-power-in-russia

Every American politician who's held office for a significant amount of time is a wealthy 1%er. Why should Russia's be any different?

*Thief. A corrupted politican. And it is my problem and concern to solve, not yours. You may help, though..! By preventing the continuous crimes of president Poroshenko in Ukraine, his negligence over pro-ukrainian radicals working against the Ukraine itself. That is pretty much in your hands.

When Putin declared war on oligarchy in the beginning of 00's, there were only six billionaires in Russia. Today there are nearly 150 of them. Good job by Putin.

There are rumors that Putin is himself a billionaire, so I guess it's true.
in Russia politicians become billionaire and billionaires want to become ploticians.

Khodorkovsky said it was “absolutely certain” Putin would fall at some point, but it may not happen in the nearest future. He said that afterward there should be a transition government to rule for two years with limited authority before free elections are held. He previously said he was ready to become president of Russia in the future.

Few Russians have much time for the oligarchs, who became fabulously wealthy during the 1990s while most people lived in poverty. However, Khodorkovsky earned grudging respect in some quarters due to the obviously political nature of his trial and the quiet dignity with which he saw out his decade in jail.

He moved to London last year from Zurich, where he had initially been based after his release. Security at Thursday’s event was light, and he said he was not worried for his safety. “After 10 years in prison I feel safe pretty much anywhere,” he said.

Hm, either my post there was deleted, or I forgot to send it here..

Pull your brains out of your ass, in what way that is LEGAL?
And no, outcome already is different - but this is none of your business. You came there to spread russophobic progpaganda, if that investigation was not about a prime minister of RF, but about some ukrainian politican - and turst me, you GOT such guys in here, and they age ****ing your country up right now - you would've never posted it here, because it goes against your fanatical crusade for dissolution of Russsian Federation.

Well, dream as much as you want to - we will survive and will fix our country, ourselves - as a civilized democratic nation. You - can go on another riot to put another oligarch in presidental seat.

This is very cinical from Medvedev to be so much corrupted and then tell Russian people that there are no money in the budget and that people have to be patient. So far Medevedev even did not respond to these accusations. Certainly, he has to sit in the prison.

More important that the average life standards are better in America, so that is not a problem even if someone has 50 billions or more. But if most of the people in the country are poor, then to have even 1 billion is cinical.

Yes, for sure prison. This can not last forever. When people will be finally fed up with the corruption, Chaika himself will find somewhere in Siberia. This is actually expains why people in Russia more and more like Stalin- there were no such huge corruption at that time like now, and if the servants of the people had some benefits, it was deeply hided not to tease the people. Now it is not the case.

Muscovite corruption is part of your form of governance , it even has a positive role, its softening putin´s populist authoritarian regime, without such huge , institutionalized corruption you´d see why more killings on the streets

Gee, what a surprising post - Patriarch Kirill is corrupted, oh my God, who would've known..!

He is pretty much world-wide known being what he is.

As for corruption - if you want to deal with it: first learn country's and nation's names, and then - get yourself a citizenship and vote as normal people do.

I never bother with your messages since there is no such country as Muscovy. It is just a slur against Russia and Russians, nothing else.
