I would love a "syllable by syllable" phone call (to Ukraine) that Trump gave a "redacted" (leaving out several minutes) version of.

Yeah I bet Putin edited it for him.

Maybe you could wake Mueller up and put him back on the trail. Giggity.

    You know what, Brother?

I have respect (and empathy) for opinions on BOTH Sides.

As long as they are expressed in a Civil Manner (and don't violate the Rules of PF).

As far as this whole "Trump/Ukraine Business", partisans on both sides have their kneejerk reactions...

...I (myself) can wait to see "how it plays out"...

The BIG NIGHT is gonna come in November 2020.

Only THEN, will we find out "who backed the wrong horse".

But, until then, let us keep it civil and have fun. :handshake:

    Right.

When you get your hands on that "edited" transcript, let us know.

    Exactly, My Friend.

It should be a Fun Ride.

Let us just take it light (and adhere to the PF Rules of Civility).

2020 is gonna be a lot of FUN at PF. :handshake: :salute:

What "conspiracy" was that? To reveal something that actually happened?

You know better at this point about how impeachment works and what the rules are. I know you do because I've personally told you. And so has the news. So at this point you're just repeating incorrect nonsense. And you know it.

All of those things happen during the Senate trial. The House is not conducting a trial, so why you think Trump would get rights afforded to a person during a trial when a trial isn't happening makes no sense, unless of course you're just repeating talking points.

    2016 certainly was.

I'd ask if you remember but I think you left in early November.

You've been investigating him for three years looking for dirt that would resonate and stick. Have you got him pinned yet?

You don't have expensive and time consuming investigations in case someone did something wrong, there has to be some evidence of a crime having been committed, What crime, to your knowledge, has been committed?

Stop electing corrupt dishonest people to power, people you knew were corrupt and dishonest before you cast your vote for them, if you don't want them to be investigated for corruption.

Doesn't seem like a complicated thought process to me.

What do you expect? You elected a corrupt man, and you expect that people will just accept that? Seriously?

    Thread win!

If we had president Kasich, there wouldn't be any impeachment proceedings right now. The GOP made their own bed, now they must lie in it.

I have no idea what their constituents wanted. But I do know they are both from swing districts where voting Yes could hurt them, and since their votes weren't needed to pass the resolution, there was no need for them to vote that way. This is not a new thing in politics.

The interviews of people connected to the Ukraine issue show that there is substance here. So what you're really upset with is not that the Democrats are lying, it's that they aren't letting it go unchallenged.

You can largely blame Trump for all of this, for two reasons.

One, for being the dishonest corrupt scumbag that he is and has always been.

And two, for being such an arrogant jackass that he antagonizes people to come after him. Combined with number one, it makes him an easy target.

It will be interesting to see what dirt is in the Mueller file after it is turned over. Trump was never colluding with the Russians, but his worry about that investigation was never that it would find that he did. He was worried about what ELSE they would find. Why do you think he was going so crazy about it?

Unlike Republicans, Democrats can think for themselves and don't have the hive mind, towing the party line.

I can tell you why none of the GOP congress members voted "yes": They are afraid of Trump. They put loyalty to Trump before loyalty to the country. They rather lie to defend Trump than telling the truth about how they REALLY feel about what he did. That, they'd only do behind closed doors.

    My guess is this.:

You have investigations when there is reasonable cause to suspect that someone has done wrong, which is exactly what happened.

The Trump administration has also set themselves up nicely for an obstruction of justice charge by not cooperating as they are legally required to do.

There are die-hard lefties and never-Trumpers who would rather see us return to a pre-Trump economy, pre-Trump unemployment, pre-Trump wages, and "brave" Baghdadi invited to the White House as a special guest, as long as it meant they won the election.

    Sad.

Totally LMAO at anybody Tracking "AJ's Disappearance" after Nov. 2016.

The same people who say that they "aren't obsessed" with me, tracking my comings and goings?

You couldn't make that up. :bored:

    Totally, LMAO! :roflol:

If "AJ" Rules Your Life, just admit it.

In any event, It is All GOOD, Either Way.:handshake:

I am in a Very Charitable Mood (and you have a RARE Opportunty) to engage me,

I am sure that those 2 (Dem Holdouts) had their reasons.:salute:

Do you honestly think that one phone call is the only place that quid pro quo could have occurred, or that you're reading the entire conversation to begin with?

Trump is an absolute liar. You know this. I know this. Choosing to believe something he released at face value just makes you look foolish.

    Such an "austere religious scholar".

Makes sense why leftists refer to Obama as a "Constitutional scholar" now though.

With the newfound love the left has been showing to Baghdadi, maybe they'll run him on their ticket in 2020. Oh wait, only their voters can be dead, not their actual candidate. :p
