The point of the impeachment inquiry is to inform the voter, and it seems to me like it's working fine. Trump has increased his lead in the RCP.

Trump's now 12 points ahead of where he was at this point in the last election cycle.

Later that day, Ms. Bedingfield responded to Mr. Schwerin saying, “VP signed off on this[.]” According to Devon Archer, after a Burisma board of directors meeting in Dubai on the evening of December 4, 2015, Hunter Biden “called D.C.” to discuss pressure that Burisma asked him to relieve.

In May 2017, James Gilliar, a Biden family associate, emailed Hunter Biden and other associates to formalize how they would divide the profit from their deal with CEFC, a Chinese Communist Party linked energy company. Gilliar indicated Joe Biden would receive 10 percent, which has been confirmed by former Biden family associate, Tony Bobulinski.

In a September 21, 2017, email, Hunter Biden wrote that Joe Biden is his business partner and provided Joe Biden’s personal cell phone if the recipient seeks confirmation. Emails also show that Hunter Biden, CEFC officials, and Joe Biden would share offices under the Hudson West/CEFC/Biden Foundation name.

On July 30, 2017, Hunter Biden demanded money from Chinese business associates and threatened that Joe Biden was sitting next to him: “if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you….I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direct.”

 

It does not matter how often anyone presents irrefutable facts regarding Hunter and Joe. The Following will never accept them.

On August 3, 2017, Hunter Biden claimed “The Biden’s are the best I know at doing exactly what the Chairman wants from this partnership[.] Please let’s not quibble over peanuts.” The Chairman is Ye Jianming is a Chinese billionaire tied to a CCP-intelligence gathering agency. Ye stated that CEFC China’s vision “is to obtain overseas resources and serve the national strategy.”

 

Translation: you're very scared.

 

Translation: you don't have a counter argument.

 

Here we are, less than two weeks away from national insolvency, and Republicans pick now to go down this 'rabbit trail'? Well, of course there'll be a "continuing resolution" to keep the bureaucracy afloat, and those CR's will probably continue in sequence until the end of the year... nothing new in that. It's the idiotic, irresponsible way we handle our economy in the United States!

But the "impeachment" proceedings? We can go back-and-forth on this all day and night, but I still say that whatever Biden faces in Articles of Impeachment, it had damned well better include "high crimes and misdemeanors" that have been committed WHILE BIDEN IS/WAS A SITTING-PRESIDENT! If my understanding of how this whole "impeachment" thing is supposed to work is correct, any crimes Biden committed BEFORE he was inaugurated simply cannot be grounds for the impeachment of a sitting-president.

Besides... think about it... even if by some miracle Biden were impeached and actually removed from office, then what do we have? Kamala-la-la Harris?! Who in the hell wants THAT?!

Truth? Democrats have only themselves to blame for this "impeachment" quid-pro-quo, and Republicans are in the process of committing something just as stupid and irresponsible. Democrats impeached Trump, twice, without ever listing any CRIMES in their Articles of Impeachment... so, what did they expect Republicans would do the first chance they had? Democrats and Republicans: DUMB AND DUMBER.

 

I'm not sure what is meant by "impeachment inquiry is going nowhere". It's not intended to. Its purpose is to break the stonewalling by the WH, and it will work once it's confirmed by vote. Don't forget that the corrupt FBI that illegally spied on Donald Trump, has probably also spied on Congress and could be subjecting some of the necessary votes to blackmail.

But, the investigation is working. The American People are better informed, and the polls are moving away from Bribed Joe.
