Another devastating blow is delivered to Saudi Arabia, ..as three Saudi Brigades are annihilated
by the Yemeni Houthis. Saudi Arabia, the third largest purchaser of arms in the world, a nation
.......... a washed in American technology and machinery of death, is unable to protect itself from
......................................................................................................... the poorest Arab country in the world.

Three Saudi Brigades Annihilated in Devastating Houthi Offensive
    Full Article here
    : http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/52312.htm

    From the Article:
On Saturday 29 the Houthis and the Yemeni army conducted an incredible conventional attack
lasting three days that began from within Yemen’s borders. The operation would have involved
months of intelligence gathering and operational planning. It was a far more complex attack
than that conducted against Aramco’s oil facilities. Initial reports indicate that the forces of
the Saudi-led coalition were lured into vulnerable positions and then, through a pincer movement
conducted quickly within Saudi territory, the Houthis surrounded the town of Najran and its
outskirts and got the better of three Saudi brigades numbering in the thousands and including
dozens of senior officers as well as numerous combat vehicles. This event is a game changer,
leaving the US, Mike Pompeo and the Israelis and Saudis unable to lay the blame on Iran as all
this took place a long way from Iran

That is because you are without doubt Willfully Ignorant of American intentions regarding
    ........................................................................................................................................ Middle East Oil

    Laughably IGNORANT ! -
    I
f the United States could care less about Saudi Arabia and Middle East Oil, NOT to
mention Saudi investment in high tech weaponry and the Laundering of untold Billions of
Saudis assets. Why in Hell do they pay Billions to maintain so many bases and so much
..........................................................................................................Military hardware in the Area ?

Fact is - Control over that Oil is critical to the US achieving their stated goal of "Global Hegemony"
and "Full Spectrum Dominance.".- And so the continued support and maintenance of the Filthy and
demostrably murderous regime in Saudi Arabia remains KEY to achieving that Objective.

Saudi Arabia can butcher Washington Post journalists in their embassies and still the US will arm
and support their policies even in the face of such murder, civil rights atrocity and grossly Stupid
    ..................................................................................................................................................... incompetence

And now that any projected US attack upon Iran seems to be de-balled and effectively emasculated as
it would cause a Catastrophic economic collapse, then it seems that the only option left to the US is to
send more demonstrably useless Patriot Missiles and hope that the perverted Maniacs in Riyadh don't
............................................................................................................... manage to BURN their own house down

YOUR claim that nobody cares about Saudi Arabia is hilarious in Light of the Impotent disarray and
ridiculous amoral Clown show that American policy has devolved into.

Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., on Thursday blasted the Trump administration’s decision to deploy
American troops and equipment to the region in response to Iranian aggression, saying officials
are “setting the conditions for further escalation” rather than working towards diplomatic solutions.

A modern day David & Goliath story.

Credit where credit is due department. Maybe the Saudis will give peace a chance and end their war against Yemen, but probably they won't.

The jihadis of Yemen were carrying out cross border attacks 3 years before Saudi Arabia retaliated.

I am undecided as to whether they are more or less barbaric than other governments and countries, understanding that many humans are barbaric. I think religion engenders barbarism.

All sorts of bad things are happening to the House of Saud beyond their humiliating losses to the Houthis mentioned in the OP here. Including a massive fire over the weekend destroying a $7 billion railway station recently inaugurated by the Saudis shown below:

In the meantime, rumors of an aborted palace coup aimed at removing MbS are rife after the Saudi king's chief body guard was shot to death by Saudi police. This while the puppet mouthpieces for foreign powers in the kingdom are once again rejecting a peaceful solution to the problems in the region.

I am afraid more is to come, until the Saudis come to their senses, sack their 'foreign minister', Al Jubeir, sideline MbS, and seek reconciliation and peace instead of following the path of war.

Yes I was listening to someone speak about the possibility that there are people quietly working together against Bin Salmon and the Saud's in the region. Just had a bit too much. They were questioning the possibility of the kingdom silently crumbling.

As you can imagine, most info I've heard about the war has been short blurbs on the radio when something terrible happens. I tried to learn some of the history of the war from this short article. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-29319423 what do you see as the solution?

I don't know.. It would be a huge help if Iran would stop backing the Houthis. Yemen has been a mess for 100 years. This recent government that the Houthis overthrew wasn't perfect, but it was better than this.. and all their neighbors have helped keep them afloat. Now over 500 factories have closed, their oil production is down to 35,000 bpd, schools are closed, the newspaper shut down. There's no food or medicine or clean water.

Houthis is anti American and anti Israel and represents a minority of the Yemenis people. I see little reason to support their rebellion. I guess the government in exile is a mildly corrupt dictatorship and now the rebels are joined by IS and Al Qaeda.
Looks to me like this civil war is a big fat none of our business. I don't see either side as being correct.

There are many humanitarian organizations trying to fight the famine there. I say send in UN combat troops to carve out say 100 square miles in order to secure it for aid workers and let both sides know that anyone hindering innocent from getting to the aid zone will be met with extreme hostility. Other than that let the two sides duke it out.

AQ moved into Yemen from Afghanistan nearly 20 years ago. Remember the USS Cole? Since then Al Shabaab and Boko Haram as well as ISIS and a few Somali pirates have moved into Yemen. I don't see how we (or Saudi Arabia) can reasonably fix the problem if those terrorist groups don't care about starvation and cholera.

Woogs.. The Saudis didn't do anything until mid 2015.. Attacks from Yemen started in 2000.. That's why the SAG moved all their villages back from the border 20 kilometers.
