Nah- she was 11 when she left Winterfell in season 1. She's at least mid-20s. After seven seasons of exclusively horrible, she deserved this. (Note also that in this time period, it was perfectly normal for girls to have sex. Remember Cersei waiting for Sansa to bleed? It wasn't so she could teach her how to stay clean while that was going on. Sansa was 14 when they got to King's Landing.)
I think she was 9 in season one (again the character, not the actress), and the time from season one to the beginning of season 8 is what, 3 years or so?
Arya was 9 in the book, but all the Stark kids were given 2-3 extra age years for the show. I doubt seasons 1-7 took only three years. Way too much happened. Almost a year passed between three episodes in season 1, when Dany got pregnant and later delivered. Look at lil' Bran compared to Raven-Bran. (pun intended.) You can't say he aged only three years. Distance between Winterfell & King's Landing is supposedly 1,500 miles. That's months of travel between the two. In considering the distances, this is important in the timeline.
No Dragons but lots of full frontal if that's impt to you, lol. Black Sails is turning out to be a great show after plodding through the first few episodes. GOT Season 8 a huge disappointment so far (resting on its laurels imho) , I'm sorry to say; & next Sunday some of our favorite characters are going to die... ):
I can understand why someone would be disappointed in the first two episodes of the season. It's been mostly a lot of meeting and greeting. However I've viewed that as a great deal of fan service and important pre-death conversations to get out. They were important episodes to set the table for what's to come.
It felt odd because we "knew" her when she was knee-high to a grasshopper. It always feels a bit odd when the ones you knew as tiny tots are of age to start boinking. What annoys me much more is Arya's transformation into the ultimate killer. A little time with Syrio, some stick training while blind, and boom, she's the ultimate ninja.
I don't think you are giving her enough credit. She was fueled by her desire for revenge. She spoke her death list out loud every night, like a bedtime prayer. She was highly motivated to learn and she learned very quickly. She also trained with The Hound. Her time with the death-cult included the training as well, beyond the blind stick stuff. I'm okay that they didn't do an extra hour or two, showing her actually practicing. I knew what was going on when she wasn't washing a body or talking to Jaqen.
So I liked watched the last episode and turned my TV on "night vision" so I could see it, and I was disappointed. That wasn't the final major battle
Of course not. They have to fight in Kings Landing (or somewhere in between Winterfell and Kings Landing)
Last night was highly satisfying. I don't have any real complaints; just some minor points. Wow..... I'm so glad Varys finally figured out she's just more of the same. A full blown loon like her father.
I'm thinking Jon will kill Dany, if he is given no choice and has to but Arya seems likely poised to take out Cersie. She is likely in the city already as No One. ^_^
I'm thinking the opposite, that Dany will kill Jon. He's the one who thinks everything is fine, and she's the one seething in jealousy that he's not only more popular with the people, but that he technically has a better claim on the throne. Particularly when she finds out that he has already betrayed her by telling his sisters about his real origin, and now everyone knows.
