    Ukraine fired missiles into Poland.
    Zelinsky's government immediately falsely accused Russia of firing them, which would justify a NATO/Russian war, and nothing would please Zelensky more.

    He is a very dangerous man and he should NOT have the power to force us into WWIII.

    Hopefully this is "last call" before the GOP House takes over and we have an actual open Congressional Debate on what the policy is of the United States regarding the Russian Ukraine War. What are our goals? What are the risks/costs and are the American People fully onboard with shoulding them.

    Another free $45B from the American People is not enough according to Zelensky.

    'The US is about to reach $100 billion in total aid committed to Ukraine, and this far surpasses the total current Russian military budget...'

    And at 5% a year, that will cost the American Taxpayers $5B a year to service that debt from now until the end of time.

    'The US Congress is about to send another $44 billion to Boeing, Raytheon and the CIA "for the war in Ukraine." That's a total of $100 billion sent by the US in 10 months. The entire Russian military budget for the year is $65 billion.'

    The CIA started our war in Vietnam, too. And the CIA is still withholding documents on the JFK assassination. Maybe before another dime is given to the CIA to continue a new war in Ukraine, they should fully disclose all the secrets they are still hiding on the JFK assassination.

    Blank checks never are, and that is why they are NEVER a good idea.

    It takes a few $$$ to bring up a country to NATO standards before membership....just like former East Germany and the rest of former Warsaw Pact....decades of Soviet decadence did no favors for these states....you understand.

    Besides....doesn't matter if GOP takes the house in Jan., many Congressmen are in favor of continued aid to Ukraine.....Zorro dude.:)

    You are absolutely correct that the current iteration of the Russian Orthodox “church” was created by Stalin stocked with NKVD ( a forerunner of the KGB) agents and for the last 70 years totally run by what is Putin’s renamed KGB. The so called priests of the ROC are actually the spiritual children of Satan.

    He stepped up to the job at the moment in time Ukraine needed a leader.

    Ukraine’s road to democracy is slower than most would like but it is moving in the right direction Russia is an autocracy. Stalin’s propaganda falsely labeled Ukrainian anti Communist anti Russia pro nationalist Ukrainians as “Fascists “ and “NAZIS”. Putin obviously continues that BullCrap.

    There should be a GoFundme site for the Ukraine.

    Lots of patriotic Americans of Ukrainian descent as well as ordinary, decent Americans have and would contribute to the defense of the Ukraine and the demise of Pooootin.

    Of course, Trump supporters won’t contribute a dime: Pooootin is Trumps best buddy.

    When this is all over he will be seen as one of the great wartime leaders. A lesser person might have run and set an example for the nation to fold. He stood and his people have stood with him.

    I will say that there are a number of Republicans & even Trumpers on this forum who are supportive of Ukraine, but sadly (and perhaps predictably) most of the support for Putin is also coming from Republicans & Trump supporters. I'm really not that surprised.

    There are plenty of ways to contribute, just google. My favourite is that you can get a message put on a shell or missile (depending on what you want to pay). There are also plenty of non-lethal types of contributions.

    I may have mentioned this before this is a great idea. In Vietnam the ordinance handlers let us paint messages to Charlie, Ho Chi Minh , and Giáp. We painted crude, rude, and outright obscene stuff. Of course our average age was 20 and our mentality was no better than college freshmen.
