Well... Don't let anyone let them tell you they weren't warned about democrats. This is what so many of us have pointedly warned everyone about. Suddenly, jews are under attack. From the fanatical supporters of democrats. It's like so many of the sacred tent dwellers in the democratic party these days. It’s the math lesson of magical proportionality, in this case.

Democrat constituencies can burn, loot, murder, mug and rape for years….but if republicans have a day of rioting it all balances out and both parties are equally bad.

You see? Magical proportionality. The simplest math in the world, it just gets a little tricky depending on subject because you might be required to invert the equation to achieve magical disproportionality.



So if we apply the equation of magical proportionality to anti-semitism and find there are a few Right wingers who are anti-Semitic, which there are, sadly, we find that actually it’s therefore all equal and there is no reason for Jews who predominantly dwell in the Democratic Party to be at all affected one way or the other as a matter of voting.



These Jews have clearly learned their math lessons quite well…well, the math lessons that are cleared of being racist, that is.

 

So any comments from Jewish parents with college kids or are ya'll too busy trying to hire body guards and personal security to escort them to class?

Not Jewish, but I do have a son who attends Columbia. The school shut down all in person classes today; virtual only. His best friend is Jewish however and is gobsmacked at what's happened on campus since October 7th.

It's likely to get worse.

I can't imagine young Jewish People, probably the first generation not to have missing family members that died in Hitler's ovens, suddenly facing violent mobs on OUR university campuses after the worst slaughter of Jews since Hitler on 10/6/23.

The key to greater societal harmony is for more of the Left to remember that as Free People we show mutual respect for differing opinions and the right to peacefully voice positions the Left disagrees with. More of the Left needs to remember that they cannot beat up people at protests because they don't like them, or burn buildings down, or unlawfully detain people by blocking public streets and bridges.

I graduated Yale in 81. I don't know how many of my classmates were Jewish but several of my closest friends were and I would sometimes attend the Kosher kitchen since one of them was the president of the Jewish organization that ran it. I cannot believe this sort of crap would have happened 45 years ago. We who are not Jewish would not have stood for such intimidation or hate directed towards our friends
