Trudeau Went to European Parliament and Got Roasted as a Dictator

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, fresh off his botched handling of freedom convoy protests of his government's policies surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, may have thought a trip abroad to address the European Parliament would be a nice reprieve from criticism at home. But that's not what he got. At all.

Instead, two members of the European Parliament laid into Trudeau, comparing him to a dictator and attacking his gall to speak about threats to Democracy after his own actions in Canada.

"It would have been more appropriate for Mr. Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, to address this house according to Article 144 — an article which was specifically designed to debate violations of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law — which is clearly the case with Mr. Trudeau," said German MEP Christine Anderson.

"Then again, a prime minister who openly admires the Chinese basic dictatorship, who tramples on fundamental rights by persecuting and criminalizing his own citizens as terrorists just because they dared to stand up to his perverted concept of democracy, should not be allowed to speak in this house at all," Anderson added.

"Mr. Trudeau, you are a disgrace for any democracy. Please spare us your presence."

But Anderson's wasn't the only not-so-warm "welcome" Trudeau received….

It is great that this terrible excuse for a human being got the reception he well deserved. The critics of his recent behavior in Canada over punitive covid restrictions and working class protesters was and is right on. The people of Canada have exposed this tyrannical despot for the authoritarian dictator that he really is.

 

What the member of Parliament from Croatia said later in the topic article was spot on and exactly right.

 

This sums up the evil tyrant up north perfectly!

 

Trudeau is as phony as a three dollar bill. He thinks if he jumps on the latest liberal bandwagon he is governing. He has no core values and certainly not a leader of the average people. He is going to learn a hard lesson.

 

He really is a loser as you describe. What he’s done to his people is not far from what full fledged communist or fascist regimes do to their opposition.

'Canada’s national intelligence service is called the CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) sounds like the CIA except that it’s allowed to carry out operations domestically. The CSIS told Trudeau that the Freedom Convoy did not present a national security threat to Canada.'

 

Everyone but hard left true believers knew that Trudeau was lying about that.

 

Too many on the Left want to be able to freely violate the rights of anyone who disagrees with them. I think some of the hard Left true believers knew he was lying and supported the systematic rights violations.

 

Europe and Canada are the same thing. They may have acted upon Covid differently, but the open-ended assumption of governmental power is the same.

The implementation of authoritarian style mandates in the U.S. was done in more of a fascist manner, as the "private sector" is becoming ever more an extension of government regulation; yes, there was some push back in the U.S., but we too are moving quickly toward abandoning any checks on government - same as Europe and Canada.

I can see Trudeau and Obama teaming up in the future.
