WTF are you taling about; you asked and against my better judgement I gave you the answer. NO, the statute of limitations did not run out, I know I've documented this TO YOU IN THIS THREAD. When business records are falsified to hide another crime, in this case election fraud, then the falsified records crime becomes a felony.
"former President Donald Trump has been charged with 34 counts of fraud12. These charges are related to hush-money payments made before the 2016 election12.
"the charges are specifically about falsifying business records to hide the reimbursement of a hush money payment."

All of that aside, I've told you this before, tRaitor tRump IS on trial facing 34 counts of fraud. The trial IS going forward. A verdict WILL be reached. All your carping about it won't change that. IF tRaitor tRump is found guilty he could be sentenced to 4 years in prison, the sentence could be suspended, a fine could be imposed. BUT, a verdict WILL be reached.

All of your concerns were already brought and dismissed.

" Donald Trump did attempt to get the hush money charges dismissed.
His attorneys filed a motion to dismiss the indictment on a number of grounds, including alleging it was brought six years after the alleged cover up in an effort to interfere with the ... Judge Juan Merchan rejected the motion to dismiss the case in open court."

The statute of limitations is LONG passed in the misdemeanor they hinge on an underlying felony still chargeable.

Who convicted Trump of election fraud? Bragg can't charge let alone prosecute him for a campaign finance charge in an election governed under FEDERAL law. And it was HIS MONEY used in a perfectly legal personal matter.

Are you asserting that if a candidate uses campaign resources to try and prevent women from coming forward with salacious stories a crime has been committed?

Then when? The only authorities with jurisdiction didn't even charge him let alone prosecute let alone get a conviction. Are you seriously trying to assert Bragg is above the law and can simply declare people are guilty of crimes over which he has no jurisdiction?

The payments were made in 2017 AFTER the election was over and not required to be reported until the following quarter.

Statute of limitations long gone and not illegal.

You have danced all around them and STILL cannot show this underlying crime.

YES Merchan who should have recused himself from the get go and engages in reviewable acts inan almost daily basis.

Nobody yet, that's what he's on trial for.

    Which comes back to this:
tRaitor tRump IS on trial facing 34 counts of fraud. The trial IS going forward. A verdict WILL be reached. All your carping about it won't change that. Eric went to court to hold his daddy's hand today. Trump is still standing by and standing up for the Charlottesville white supremacists as he heads to the court room.

'Trump trial live updates: Judge threatens Trump with jail for further gag order violations'
Gary Farro's testimony is expected to take up much of the morning.

    Lisa Rubin

"Merchan, in his decision finding that Trump had violated his gag order, wrote that he understands a $1,000 fine is unlikely to make much of a difference for someone with wealth, but that he cannot levy a larger fine.

"Because this Court is not cloaked with such discretion, it must therefore consider whether in some instances, jail may be a necessary punishment," Merchan wrote.'

It's about 11 separate payments to Cohen...each with their own false check, false invoice and false entry into the books.

Gary Farro confirmed to attorney Todd Blanche that the decision to close Michael Cohen's accounts was not his.

Earlier, he told prosecutor Rebecca Mangold the bank chose not to be "attached to negative press." Cohen's accounts that could be closed were closed, the banker said. Cohen's mortgages were left in tact.

    Interesting...

Let Elise Stefanik speak for herself.

Democrats’ corrupt and desperate witch hunts against President Trump must come to an end. This is lawfare and blatant election interference and the American people know it. That is why today I filed an official complaint with the Department of Justice Office of Professional Responsibility on Joe Biden’s special counsel, Jack Smith, for his clear and illegal efforts of election interference. We will fight the Democrats unjust lawfare and expose this corruption whether it is in New York, Atlanta, or right here in Washington, DC.

Prosecutor says he wants to introduce evidence to show Trump's "attempt to dissuade witnesses"

Prosecutor Matthew Colangelo says prosecutors want to introduce evidence to show "the defendant's attempt to dissuade witnesses including Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels" through what he calls a public pressure campaign, retaliation and harassment online.

Colangelo argues that the defense "opened the door" to these arguments in their opening statements criticizing Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels for saying their financial livelihoods depends on attacking the defendant.

The prosecutor says this would be evidence of Trump's "consciousness of guilt."

Trump attorney Todd Blanche says he wants to know more about what prosecutors plan to do.

Judge Juan Merchan said if the door has been opened, then they'll find out their plan when the prosecutors question witnesses about it and he'll handle it then.'

Prosecutors want to introduce texts from Daniels' former publicist

Prosecutors want to get in some text messages from Stormy Daniels' then-publicist Gina Rodriguez to AMI executive Dylan Howard. The prosecutors say these messages will help contextualize messages Howard sent to her that they plan to show the jury.

Trump attorney Todd Blanche says that text would cause the jury to improperly speculate about what she meant at the time.

Judge Juan Merchan says he'll rule after the break.

I just found out it is now $9000. I guess they fine him $1000 for violating the order again and again. If he keeps doing it many more times, He'll go to jail and no exceptions period.
