Yes, otherwise it's just unfounded opinion?

True, in the popular mind the government used 9/11 as an example of the sort of terrorism that could be inflicted on the US. But no one EVER said 'Saddam was behind 9/11', not Mueller, Bush, Cheney, Powell or anyone. No one ever lied about WMDs or anything else, the worst you could accuse them off is believing what they wanted to believe from the Iraqi exiles. .

I do believe Bush used the "imminent threat to the US" of Saddam using WMD against us as justification to invade. Even if he did have chemical weapons ready for use, he had no delivery system to threaten the US. Of course we don't have access to all the intel the Bush admin had, so I won't accuse them of starting an illegal war.

I can give you more if you like - but since you have not addressed the facts presented in these articles - what would be the point.
Nor does ad hom - attacking the source rather than addressing the information - constitute a valid argument for anything.

The claim that having a Uranium stockpile - and nothing else gives someone the ability to build a nuke - is preposterous nonsense on steroids. You need a whole lot more than just Uranium to build a nuke. If fact you cant build a nuke without "enriched Uranium" - a process that takes decades - hence why the term "active Nuclear weapons program" matters. The idea that having a stockpile of Uranium constitutes some "Imminent threat of a mushroom cloud" is a complete falsehood - a total lie. The "Yellowcake" nonsense - based on a known forgery - was a complete lie as well.

The koolaid you drank was the stuff that caused you to believe that Saddam was in league with Al Qaeda on 911 - and that you were about to be nuked .. and that this threat was so imminent that you had to attack Iraq Now !!! :) All lies and intentional fabrications. You got so drunk on the koolaid that you probably still believe those lies.

No, Robert Mueller And James Comey Aren’t Heroes
The former FBI directors have acceded to numerous wrongful abuses of power in the post-9/11 era.

No ... the behavior of Trump his complete life long shows it as fact

Lol ... investigate better about 9/11! The warmongers around Bush Jr. ... those who wanted all the time a war with Saddam ... still told on evening of 9/11 that this could only be have done by Saddam. But this evil media still reported otherwise and both - CIA and FBI - rejected this crap too and told correctly that it was Osama!

No one lied about WMD in Iraq? Looool! How many were found after attack in 2003 again? So no lie ... but we were only imcometent to find any which we told the world Saddam has masses of them, eh?

    "imminent threat"

That's a Fake News quote. Bush never said there was an imminent threat.

The actual quote is: "We shouldn't wait until the threat is imminnt."

McCabe was not fired for bias. Ridiculous. If it wasn't for Trump's paranoia, he would still be there. It is ok for your wife to be a democrat and for you to work for your country, like McCabe. Trump was a lifelong Democrat.

    Why was Andrew McCabe fired?

Why Andrew McCabe Was Fired. Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor — including under oath — on multiple occasions. The FBI expects every employee to adhere to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and accountability.

Clearly mccabe was motivated by hate for trump and a desire to undo election results he disapproved of

Trump is unhinged, he is deranged and he is dangerous. The FBI has a sworn duty to uphold the constitution. They have no duty to protect a rogue President.

That's one of the well known side effects of TDS.

What's good and gold today will become disgusting and vile tomorrow if it fails to produce the predetermined result desired.

Who's saying anything of the kind about Mueller?

Trumpers seem to live in fantasyland where they imagine "eviiiiil lefities" say bad things, and then they get to claim that everybody that they perceive as an "eviiil lefty" are making such statements.

    Heh. Nuts.

Yes, let's discuss "partisan hacks", Rudy.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/03/us/politics/william-barr-mueller-report.html

WASHINGTON — Some of Robert S. Mueller III’s investigators have told associates that Attorney General William P. Barr failed to adequately portray the findings of their inquiry and that they were more troubling for President Trump than Mr. Barr indicated, according to government officials and others familiar with their simmering frustrations.

At stake in the dispute — the first evidence of tension between Mr. Barr and the special counsel’s office — is who shapes the public’s initial understanding of one of the most consequential government investigations in American history. Some members of Mr. Mueller’s team are concerned that, because Mr. Barr created the first narrative of the special counsel’s findings, Americans’ views will have hardened before the investigation’s conclusions become public.

Uh, backup and note who I was replying to.

And you make a lot of false assumptions about people you have neither met nor understand.

I'm reading the posts here. Words have meaning, and you don't have to make "assumptions" about someone to understand the words that they use.

If your own words are that people are attacking Mueller, I'd like to know where. But I suspect it came from your imagination.

Who were removed from the investigation.

Tell me again how their political opinions resulted in actions on their part.

Once we accepted the bizarre concept that everyone is entitled to their own truth, we opened ourselves up to this kind of idiocy.
