Now people trust John Bolton? Really? Actually, in this climate of political muck slinging, I am not surprised. People will believe whatever helps their cause, even if they know the one saying it is probably lying.
Forget whether he's lying, his claims are irrelevant. If a President negotiates for something favorable to America, and the reason for his doing so is to get re-elected, that's what we expect. Hell, that was the argument in favor of Joe Biden's actions with regards to the prosecutor. What goes for Joe, goes for Trump.
Versus Donald Trump?? All day long.... Donald Trump calling somebody a liar is a badge of honor these days... Take a second and explain what Bolton GAINS here? He's already gotten a significant advance from the publisher.... Why in the world would you risk spending your golden years in court other than to simply set the record straight? Ask Daniel Ellsberg..... I imagine somewhere in his book, he will give Trump props for certain actions Bolton agreed with... Are those lies too?
Dude, that's just lame.... Biden's actions with regards to the prosecutor were in 2016... He wasn't running for anything...
Doesn't matter, Biden's actions were "in the interest of the US". Trump's actions here, are in the interest of the US.
Yes, that is an easy argument to make. However, the motivation is also very relevant and I also ask, what was the quid pro quo?
For american farmers, plenty of new mouths to feed. That's a quid pro quo I'll accept anyday. I want more Americans to make quid pro quo's that benefit other Americans. Specifically middle class and working Americans. Nancy Pelosi should try it and strike a deal with McConnell.
We had him last time. And the time before that. We just couldn't get past the Republican party, who handed him their collective cojones on a silver platter. Bolton should be hung by his for holding all of this back instead of doing the right thing and telling this tale under oath. Money was more important than country, it seems.
No, you didnt. You had nothing whatsoever. It was nothing more than a political hit job without substance. Bolton has nothing of substance, just an angry opinion.
But I thought farmers were already going to vote for him... How does helping farmers win him any more votes? Maybe it's about keeping his campaign promises and helping American workers.
To get China to buy more US products* fixed, and yeah I don't care. I know the Uniparty isn't going to do anything about it.
I guess we will find out what the price was, and who he threw over a cliff, when Bolton's Book is released.
If there's anything explosive in this book we'll find out soon. But, as so many times before, it's Trumps response which is as important to observe, alerting us once again about this bizarre character. But some people still think this is normal behavior for a President of the United States, responding like this in public. Another example of Trump's vindictive character, tear-gassing anybody who speaks up against him.
Bolton had an opportunity to make all his claims under oath at Trump's impeachment, and he refused. Just the News reported, "The Justice Department on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against former National Security Adviser John Bolton to prevent the publication of his book that the suit claims includes classified material. "The breach-of-contract suit was filed in U.S. District Court in Washington. "President Trump had confirmed Monday that his administration planned to file a suit to block the sale of the book." The left is also all a-twitter about this, claiming it is censorship to want to redact classified information. Also, don't watch Gone With The Wind, wear an OAN T-shirt, or keep Paw Patrol on TV.
