    Meanwhile Time's own readers voted for the Hong Protesters as person of the year at 30% (10 times higher than the rate that voted for Greta - 3%). Just about the only American political leader consistently standing up for Hong Kong is Trump. Meanwhile the MSM and liberal elites are ignoring the story as best they can (if not openly cheerleading for China).

    There has never been a case of manufactured consent more blatant than Greta. The elites pick the tool, have their surrogates elevate it and then we are all supposed to pretend that this was some kind of natural thing that evolved from the ground up.

    Leftist elites are on the wrong side of history. This is the absolute nadir of their existence in America with regards to human rights. Not only do their actions demonstrate that they don't care about them in other countries, they also want to suppress them here.

    I question the judgment of those that consciously use a minor child as agitprop, in real time, in the adult political arena.

    Trump should have steered clear but the adults behind this girl being a political spokesperson on the world's stage are exploitive bastards.

    Trump is as easy to read as a dime novel. Once you accept the fact he is, and always has been, an egomaniac and narcissist. I thought everyone knew this. Getting edged out by a sixteen year old climate champion would be sure to drive him nuts. And it did.

    Trump certainly doesn't know when to leave well- enough alone. Just another example of his pettiness and immaturity, by verbally attacking a 16 yr old, who wasn't responsible for the award. She didn't give the award herself, but Trump certainly needs to award himself, e.g., super imposing his face on Sylvester Stallone's body. :)
