Trump attacks Republicans for not "defending" him

During most of my lifetime the rule of thumb was to keep editorializing to editorials--hence the need for that section.

 

IMO he's sucking their brains dry and discarding them.

Eventually he will find the ones that understand his mission and are willing to work toward it with him.

Trump does speak an odd dialect of English. Incomplete sentence structure seems to be the norm with him.
It actually hurts my eyes to read a transcript of his interviews.

Your lifetime represents a pretty small fraction of this republic's history with media and the press. You just got used to the Edward Murrow school of journalism from the early days of Television and its three networks +PBC. America is more used this model with broadsides, and competing newspapers full of slant and bias.
