The year of the pandemic was wrong.

The number of dead from the pandemic was wrong.It would kill many more people after the war, as it lasted well into 1920.

The number of dead in WW1 (ignoring the "Second World War" for the moment) was massively wrong.

The number of dead Trump cited was closer to the Second World War than the First, by many tens of millions.

The First World War ended in 1918 and did not kill 50 to 100 million. It ended not due to the pandemic but to changes in Allied strategy, tank technology, a much larger population from which to call up soldiers and superior manufacturing capacity..Primary causes of Allied victory were the new strategy of mass bombardment, followed by large tank led attacks. This forced German defenders to retreat for many miles, until they could regroup and harden their lines. At which point the Allies would stop, hold the seized lands and repeat the attack elsewhere. The Allies succeeded i pushing the Germans back to their last lines of defense. This broke German resolve, vastly depleted German resources and convinced German leadership they could not win.

The pandemic was a problem in 1918, but it did not win the First World War nor end it.
