There's a strong chance Mueller's report won't do much. It may not be very detailed...and it may be blocked. But there is nothing preventing Mueller fully testifying in an open format in front of Congress. Executive privilege won't matter. They'd have to get an injunction preventing Mueller to talk which has never happened and probably never would.

But ultimately, it will be the new Congress that will bring trump and his criminal family members down. Schiff is already compelling financial records...tax returns, Deutsche bank records etc. The NY Attorney General is also someone to watch...she's about to put the hammer down on trump's kids. It will actually be fun to watch.

    What is my ilk?
For the record, I voted for Hillary. I just don’t become a hysterical, insecure 16 year girl every time trump does something.
The left can’t even figure out whether Trump is smart or dumb. It’s very telling of whether you can figure out more important things.

This whole mess is liberals fault anyway. Right up to elections media started to crucify every cop involved in a shooting that hurt a black person, before real investigation could even take place. Blaming everything on white man. What did you expect to happen? White men literally revolted and now you have trump! Great job!

lmfao...sssuuuuuurrrre you voted for Hillary. And I'm sure they'll be a lot more humiliated cowards claiming to have voted for anyone who isn't trump very, very soon. You'll be in good company.

lol and its pretty funny to watch your ilk trying to blame trump on Liberals. And remember this, trump didn't win the election at all. He got the help of an enemy of the country to do what he always does...cheat.

But that he got close enough to cheat certainly isn't the fault of liberals...its the fault of the moron rubes that voted for him because they loved his racism.

Like I said, own what you are. Its your truth. You are what you are.

My ignore list just got one bigger. I cannot abide a coward although I can't say I'm surprised. Bye Felicia...

Calls others morons, yet behaves like one.
What can you expect from far left? It’s either their way of highway.
And I do vote for both parties. To me the candidate is more important than the party. Something that libs will not understand till they start reaching their 30th birthdays.

Nobody is. The POTUS is not a king. In fact, the power is very limited.
I bet moderates will swing back to Dems if they moderate their views. Things started to get ridiculous in the run up to 2016 elections.

He is intelligent and talented. But his psychological issues and limited intellect conspire to make him ignorant of some of the most basic precepts of leadership and governance. Coupled that with his limited verbal abilities and mendacity and he makes himself look like he's as dumb as a bag of hammers.

I gave you a like on this but I'd say it deserves more than that. So; well said, right on the money.

And regarding Putin's dirt on Trump; that was the point I tried to make. Putin has dirt on Trump but he doesn't even need it. If Putin wanted to blackmail Trump to ruin America... don't bother.
Trump is doing a good job of that already, far better than Putin could ever have achieved by making Trump his b*tch.

Trump has zero loyalty to America. (Hence the never-ending shutdown.) As Trump closed down the government, solely for his own gain, he will only re-open the government if he gains by it.
But not because of a silly wall! I mean, who still believes that lame excuse?
No, Trump will only re-open the government if it gets Mueller of his back. A government for his amnesty. THAT'S where we are.

I think it's time we recognize that Trump no longer serves the interest of America and the world, President-wise.
Trump has all but confirmed such himself. And if he said so tomorrow who would still be surprised? What does it matter anymore?
Trump has basically suspended his Presidency by closing down the government. America, now, has NO working Commander in Chief.

    Just a sh*tter on Twitter.

This is as good a summary of Trump's activities and attributes as I've seen.

Agreed...I am really curious to how this government shut down crap is going to end. I'm starting to think that they're going to try to call certain people back then pass bills to basically pay them "temporarily" until the shutdown is over. This whole mess is likely to cause a major economic crash and run up the already insane deficit. Its costing US taxpayers somewhere between 1-2 billion per week.

Meanwhile, the fever pitch of trump pimping himself out to Putin is reaching a fever pitch. Pretty soon, the republicans will start to peel off. The only ones that will be left are the ones like Nunes and Rand Paul, who are also beholden to Russia. Its going to be interesting to watch.

Whatever happens...I want one thing...I want the exposure and never-ending ridicule of trump supporters who allowed this to happen because hatred and fear of brown people was the ONLY thing they cared about. I want them to never be able to forget the stain of what they are at their very core and what they supported and allowed to happen in this country.

Well, it is clear now that Trump has shut down the government solely for his own shady reasons. But not so shady any more once Mueller drags those reasons into the light.

How is this shut-down going to end? I don't know. I'm to busy to describe the insult to humanity that is Trump. He must be, hands down, the most callous individual who ever lived.
(Well, except for Hitler of course. But it is some ''honour'' to go down in history as the second best inhumane human ever.)

Trump often reminds me of Vilos Cohaagen of Total Recall. Now, there was an individual who hated everybody around him! Even his goldfish had to suffer.

Personally, I believe that Trump thinks the people will, over time, get on his side on this wall issue and thus he can win the 2020 election in a landslide.

His tweets speak for themselves. Thus Trump shuts down the government and claims only a wall can re-open it. No wall, no government. Rinse and repeat.
There's a word for that; It's called brainwashing.

In the meantime ordinary Americans can suffer the loss of wages and the food that buys it, thanks to the shutdown. That's the REAL shutdown. The shutdown of people's lives.

But NOT of people's brains. The people will remember Trump's betrayal of their humanity and decency and how he forgot the Oath of Office; to serve the people and not himself, as if he were their king of slaves.

May Trump show the mercy to set his subjects free.
But I suspect he lacks the soul required.

I kind of want this fake DNC oppo research to be true, just because it would be hilariously epic.

Some of what was gathered was true and some of it was the typical bullshit rumor that one encounters in raw intell reports.

But I agree, I'd love to see the "video" of the hookers peeing on the bed and the look on Trump's face while he watched. It would be classic television. Not that I'd put it passed him, but I frankly its hardly a big deal even if true. Everyone already knows the extent of Trump's character.

    Trump concealed Putin meeting details.

Let's hope so. Private discussions by national leaders should be kept confidential.

Does anybody remember when Trump said he never met Putin before during his campaign?

I agree except that a meeting between two world leaders is not "private".

It can be confidential as so many of them are, but that is an entirely different thing.

Yeah, I'm familiar with how trumpettes view "transparency". What's a little undocumented hanky panky between "friends" eh?

I don't know that there was any hanky panky. Perhaps you can share the details.
