But that is what I'm saying, you are focusing on the sex,I am focusing on the money laundering, the campaign election violations aspect--(which is illegal & you should be as concerned about it as anyone else)
As far as the endless nic-picking,nobody even comes close to cornering the market on nic-picking like trump--
And again your statement about "disrupting"--trump spends more time disrupting our country's business with his constant personal drama & how much of a personal gain he will make-So, there's that----
So, back to the OP & confessions trump made on Fox news---by trump saying that Cohen did very little work for him--- meanwhile at the same time on the other side of town,Cohen & trump's other attorneys were in court making the case about attorney/client privilege, after trump's statements on Fox,within 2 hours the Justice Department sent a brief to the court house with trump's statement on Fox---trump totally screwed up his argument for defense---that is what I'm talking about when I say "implications"---Now,to you, that might not mean anything & you would call it nic-picking & turn a blind eye---I call it more evidence of total incompetence & another nail being put in place to get rid of this unworthy to be POTUS---
So,this is my OP --I am not moving on---You however have the choice to "move on" & not respond or go to a different thread----Just saying---

Fine, you spend all the time you want on "the context",you will eventually come to the same conclusion -----which is trump said one thing one day & when it is found out that he wasn't telling the truth, he changes his story & when that doesn't work he finally confesses---conclusion--he lied---
But,the reason I bring the OP is the implications of trump's confessions on Fox---If he knew about the 130k,that is campaign election violations & a cover up & money laundering---
By trump saying Cohen had only a tiny fraction of dealing with Cohen--his defense for what Cohen & his other attorneys (at the same time trump was confessing on Fox,they were in court arguing attorney/client privilege on the other side of town) was being thrown out, by trump himself----
And by trump confessing that he did indeed stay overnight in Russia, lends credence to the dossier & perhaps collusion-which is what Mueller is investigating----

Of course not, because if your were to understand the implications of what trump confessed, you would come to the realization that trump is a money launderer, that he violated campaign election laws, was involved in a cover-up to get elected, gives credence to the dossier & collusion & has no business be POTUS----and your overzealous support for him goes "poof"------

You are correct in saying Drumpf cultists don't care. Normal people who understand sexual assault of women is pervasive and perpetrators should be punished care.

Obviously Trumpists Don't Care about America (or anything else).

They proved that when they cast their ballots to elect this UNPREPARED, RACIST, MISOGYNIST (Trump) IMBECILE (in the first place).

    Of course, they don't care.

Oh well, Trumpies gonna Trumpie. :icon_clueless:

What does any of this have to do with campaign violations? Trump made a business out of his name and even became a celebrity. He probably has been paying to silence accusations, true and false, to protect that name for many many years. Its his lawyers job to do this. Is there evidence he dug into campaign donations to make the payment? Probably not, not likely.

The problem is selective hostility- ignoring the identical things on one side and raising hell about them on the other.
While Hillary hasn't been charged, anyone willing to look realistically at the facts see criminal activity carefully structured to dodge the risk of direct responsibility, going back for decades. The dems and left just look right past that like it wasn't there. They look past collusion like the Strozek/page/McCabe evidence shows existed beyond any doubt. Gross and mass denial of obvious illegality and impropriety- and they don't care. One of the reasons Trump is in office is that people didn't want to elect a crook of that magnitude.

Politics is unfortunately a dirty game, and nice guys do finish last. Most strong presidents have known how to keep a nice guy public image, but were bears to deal with in private. Hillary too was hated by her own staff and the secret service people assigned to protect her. While there is documentation of that, it got little press coverage- assisted denial by choice of her supporters. Look up Lyndon Johnson for example. Spent a lot of time using women, bragging on the size of his manhood, and one told a reporter he got more P***Y by accident than JFK did on purpose. Of course, you never heard that on the news, because news media at that time knew that protecting the image of the presidency was more important to the nation than a presidents dalliances. JFK's father told him once that who you are doesn't matter in politics- it's what people think you are. Image. Facade to keep the people thinking you are a nice guy. That has been the norm- and the list of presidents who had known affairs is longer than the ones who didn't, that we knew of.

Trump isn't willing to kiss babies and smooth feathers to keep that image in place to make you happy. He is what he is, and it's brassy, bold, tough and not too diplomatic when he feels crosses. Trump supporters aren't blind to that, but would rather have a crude winner than a slick crook in office. Despite his visible faults and the constant barrage of trash from the left, he has done a great deal for the country. Of course the left doesn't recognize it- they can't afford to admit to any of it. That would indicate that they are the ones off the rail.

What does your diatribe have to do with the OP--which is Trump confesses to Fox News----
Again, you can overlook his faults & unethical behavior, which other POTUS' didn't have that privilege by the way---they were impeached for far less---
This POTUS is under scrutiny because there is strong suspicion in how he won the 2016 election, campaign election violations, cover up, & money laundering--
You can harp all you want about how unfair it is to poor donnie, everything should be overlooked because of "how" much he has done for our country, well my opinion is he should have been disqualified as a candidate for repeated campaign violations, he has done little to nothing for our country & he used & accepted a foreign country to get elected, which is against campaign rules & is illegal---he is not above the law regardless of your whining----

But that is it---he confessed to Fox that he hired Cohen to deal with" this crazy Stormy Daniels deal"(trumps words on Fox)after he stated on airforce one a few weeks back now that he" had no idea about the 130k & to go ask his attorney (Cohen)"-----he threw Cohen under the bus to take the heat, because he knew he was in violation, involved in a cover up & money laundering----
No,incorrect, trump did not dig into campaign donations to make the payment--Cohen took out a home equity loan on his home, set up a dummy LLC in another state & used fictitious names to cover up the payment to Stormy Daniels, then stated" trump never did reimburse me"---also it is against the law for an attorney to make a payment to someone on behalf of his client without his clients consent---Cohen can be disbarred---so,by trump saying on airforce one that he had no idea about the 130k,he is willing to ruin a man's life to save his own skin---then Sara Sander's in the daily press briefing in part said,"besides it has already been mediated & the POTUS won"---Now,how can something be mediated when trump stated he knew nothing about it? Then again, trump sued Stormy for 20 million, for what?,if he knows nothing about it, whats he suing her for?
It makes no difference about how trump made a business out of his name---he is not above the law, he has to follow the same campaign rules as everyone else, I don't accept your argument of him protecting his name by paying off or having his attorney pay off with over the contribution campaign donation limit, an affair & covering it up to help get him elected---

The Trump "confession" is a term fabricated and applied in the post to sling dung, not an issue of fact. People of good faith don't promote crap like that.

So, your saying that trump is fabricating sling dung? And that trump is not a person acting in good faith?
Because I sure as sh## am not fabricating--I provided a link with trump's confessions in his own words--

I just looked that over. Seems like some question or confusion over where a person was 5 years ago is an automatic confession to you?

I was looking for such phrases as "I confess, I lied, I was not truthful, mea culpa" or anything vaguely resembling "confession", which was your choice of words.
Funny, but I didn't find any of that. Seems you decided to label it that anyway.
Creating verbage to cast doubt, to imply something unsavory beyond fact..... AKA, throwing mud, slinging dung. For reason of- personal gratification of insulting a person in high office? Awarding yourself points for being nasty?
Most of the people who value or respect that are in high school. I'm not.

OMG----what part of trump saying on airforce one a couple of weeks ago he knew "nothing" about the 130k payoff, ask "my" attorney---to then say to Fox news yesterday---"I hired Cohen to represent me in this crazy Stormy Daniels deal" do you not understand---you can call it any name you want to Spirit Guy--to me it was a confession---there is no confusion on my part---trump lied, then told the truth in a rant=confession------
You seem to think somehow I am making this up,casting doubt & to imply something unsavory beyond fact--I brought a link that has video that is trump himself, nobody coerced him to make these confessions, nobody asked any gotcha questions.
And just for the record---I don't have to make anything up, all one has to do is show video of trump or trump's tweets-----
So,again,do you have an opinion to offer about the OP,which is trump confesses on Fox News---?

So, you think because Cohen was a legal counsel, Trump knew everything he thought or did?
That's one hell of a jump.
The left is so deep into Hypocrisy that it has no trouble at all inverting and denying standards it would demand be respected when the claims are reversed.

    Dung flinging. Nothing more.

Damn easy. The Attoneys job was to handle it as he thought best Trump didn't need to know how it was handled and likely didn't want to.

I imagine the threat she received in Las Vegas in a parking lot while with her baby daughter (in 2011) may have run through her mind when "presented" with the NDA by Cohen and her own lawyer at the time (who is likely in a world of legal woes himself) in October 2016, conveniently just weeks before the election. In her lawsuit filed by her new lawyer (Avenatti), she also states that in January of this year she was coerced and intimidated by Cohen into signing a document claiming she did not have an affair with Trump. With the FBI and the SDNY Attorney having access soon to all of Cohen's data, it's no wonder he pleaded the 5th. Yup, I'd say Cohen is done, and will likely flip on Trump. I'd also say Stormy's first lawyer, Keith Davidson, isn't sleeping well at the moment and he will likely do what he can to mitigate his punishment.

Yup, I'd say Michael Avenatti is doing yeoman's work on behalf of his client, whom he considers to be one of the very smartest clients he's ever had. That is something Trump's lawyers certainly can't say about their client......
