I know this is old news but I was traveling when this story broke. I could see pardoning soldiers for negligent homicide or the like but for outright murder? Why do conservatives think this is okay?

And then there's Gallagher. That man should be happy he's not in jail. If he's innocent, so was OJ.

When you send fellow citizens to distant lands to kill your enemies (not theirs) don't whine when they do it by whatever means available. They came back in one piece, which is a good thing. If you want the troops to fight like sissies then the whiners should join the military and do it themselves. If you don't like seeing blood , guts, and splattered brains then stay home and mind your own business. Everyone whose enlistment is expiring should have left the service if the guys' punishment stood. PODS trump did something right for a change.

Alot of troops were not at all happy murderers getting off scott free because Trump (and his supporters) don't doesn't understand the difference between murder and innocent and the problems that occur when the Good Guys are just as bad as the Bad Guys.

But what if they intentionally kill non-combatants? Should soldiers be given free reign to do whatever they want?

    This is kind of disturbing!

“Gallagher's fellow SEALs became so disturbed with his killings of civilians that they tampered with his sniper rifle to make it less accurate, and would also fire warning shots at civilians to prevent Gallagher from shooting at them, according to prosecutors.”

His peers didn’t support him doubt they would leave to defend him.
