Trump has always said he believes in the American spirit-and the ability to Americans to prevail in times of difficulty.

We have private industry responding to address the China virus-Hanes, as well as craft distilleries.

Long term this has strategic benefits as well-including less reliance on foreign exports.

Offshoring our manufacturer was stupid . We can thank the GOP for this scheme. Yet the dems joined the scheme . But will both parties bring back essential industry?

    Great idea.

Too bad that he didn't think of it 2 Months ago.

Maybe if he had, we wouldn't be in this Mess.

    Still, better late than never.

    Go Hanes!

2 months ago Democrats were impeaching Trump and calling him racist for restricting travel from China.

What’s the impeachment have to do with anything. Not like he had to be present for it.

This is a leap. Impeachment and Corona are unrelated. Quit making excuses.

    My sentiments EXACTLY, Yulee.

If Trump (as he claimed) was above the "Shampeachment" he should have went about the business of governing.

It is literally beyond COMICAL to hear Trump Screaming...
"I couldn't do anything back then, I was being impeached"...

^That kind of "Don't blame me" is Weak Sauce (and everybody knows it).

Even the most Extreme Trump Partisans KNOW that line of "Defense" is BS.

But, the "Talking Points" to "defend" Trump have gotten so thin, that is all that they have.

Anyway, back to the OP, Bravo to Hanes.

Still, Trump acted 2 months too late.

Combating that stupidity has been Trump's theme, don't expect the LW to say he was right.

He was a bit occupied in January with a purely political impeachment that everyone knew wasn't going anywhere.

    WRONG.

If Trump was actually "Governing" (and not playing golf and making an Ass out of himself on Twitter), he would have acted Presidential.

What the Dems were doing in Congress had nothing to do with Trump discharging his duties.

And that entire line of "defense" is Weak Sauce.

Nobody believes it. Nobody buys it.
And, Everybody sees right through it.

Still, Hanes stepped up. Better late than never.

Sorry but anyone who was putting “America first” would have ignored what was going on with the Republican owned Senate that had already decided to find him innocent

Strange too that he found time to golf bit not time to put in plans to deal with a looming crisis

    WOW!

Sounds like a Real GAMECHANGER (to alleviate "the shortage"):

They take about two hours to print on a 3D printer

    ^Each one

    What a Gamechanger!

    Bye Bye Shortage. #MAGA

    Or the neoliberal RW .

Both sides weakened this nation and gave us this low wage service sector economy that cannot build and sustaib a middle class.

Yet never forget this giant sucking sound came from the pro business GOP. Which Clinton and enough dems embraced instead of being like perot and rejecting the disemboweling of the nation our foundets created.
