Their seems no limit to what our liberal media will say and do in an attempt to separate Trump supporters from him and they use a lot of word games in this article and especially in the headline to try and make it sound like Trump has reneged on his wall promise. First off it's Democrats that have impeded progress on this fighting him over every foot of new improved border barriers and secondly it only makes sense those barriers are first being built in high traffic areas with previously inadequate easily breeched barriers in name only. Yes the walls going up despite democrats best efforts and the media's spin and spin they did in this article but behind the spin it's undeniable the walls going up.

"The Trump administration has not installed a single mile of new wall in a previously fenceless part of the U.S.-Mexico border in the 30 months since President Trump assumed office, despite his campaign promise to construct a “big beautiful wall.”

" In Trump’s two and a half years in office, his administration has installed an average 1.7 miles of barrier per month, and none of it in areas that did not previously have some sort of barrier. A total 205 miles of new and replacement barrier has been funded in the two and a half years since Trump took office."

Which has nothing to do with this article and it's deceitful spin and the fact that the wall is being built despite democrats best efforts

DEMOCRATS: we're not giving Trump any funding for the wall
DEMOCRATS: we're going to fight the wall every step of the way
DEMOCRATS: omg! Trump hasn't built enough miles of wall!

A Wall being built on PRIVATE Property (with Private Funds)..

It has ZERO to do with Trump's Wall.

    "New" is the key word.

The existing border fence is being replaced with the "new" border wall. That is a fact.

Ah hem, only 46.7 miles. That 200+ miles is what has been funded.

Whereas the media is attempting to make replacing the key word and implying it's not new improved fencing

Yes and that's due to hurdles the left puts up.

"senior administration official told the Washington Examiner that Border Patrol and the Army Corps of Engineers moved faster on replacement projects than the new ones because the approval process for environmental and zoning permits was far less extensive than areas of the border with no barrier."

Geeeze if fuxing the bits of fence you have first before starting on the new bits is “the left putting up hurdles” put me down on the side of logic and reason please.

Two years. Trump had two years of republican ownership of the house and the senate but Golf was obviously far more important
