My 2 cents worth:

The GOOD:
No one in this country is above the law. In many cases, the process is more important than the outcome. If this goes to a jury trial, Guilty or Not Guilty, I will be satisfied and
accept the outcome. I think the DA has an uphill case. Still, a NY jury will return a fair verdict since they are great cross section. NYC is a melting pot and the chances are good that people from all walks of life will be represented due to the sheer number of people who live here.

The BAD:
This will be a 5 ring circus. Trump will play the victim in the media and with limitless legal resources, thanks to his rube donors, will have a defense team second to none.
At the same time, running out the clock may not be an option in his defense. If he truly wants to run for President, a trial hanging over his campaign will be a serious problem in Republican primaries. In fact, if the DA slow plays the trial, it might not be over by the election or even by primary season. Uncertainty of the outcome might just kill his chances in lots of primaries as well as the Republican convention.

The UGLY:
You are going to hear more foaming-at-the-mouth rhetoric and outright lies from his supporters which will get more and more incredible as time passes. Public statements are not sworn testimony, so be prepared to hear the most evil lies from the MAGA faithful. The trial phase, if we get to one, will be rife with downsides for the Orange Stain. Remembering that there are at least 3 pending cases against him, the information revealed and sworn testimony will be public record and can only serve to assist other prosecutors. I would lay incredibly long odds against him actually testifying. I could see his attorney bludgeoning him into unconsciousness in open court to keep him off the stand.

I'm stocking up on popcorn and beer for this one. LOTS.

He wants to cultivate his image as a victim as much as possible and he knows that there is a strong risk that he will be found guilty.

No, I didn't tell him (or her) since I don't know who wrote it. I DO know who, on this forum, is claiming to know what the charges are and I'm telling them they don't since the indictment is under seal.
You may be correct but you may also be wrong because NONE of us know what the charges are.

I would disagree in this one situation.... Everything else makes sense for him to go full parachute (which is what it would take if he jumped from a 10 foot ladder), but I still think this state charge is something he'd like to resolve either way before primary voting (if possible)

Really? Where has it been leaked? There have been a lot of guesses. A lot of inferences. A lot of analyzing. I want to know where there has been a "leak" where we know, for a fact, what the charges are.
