U.S. citizen in California gets pulled over by LE for expired registration, no insurance and no drivers license.
    Car is impounded.

Non citizen (illegal alien) gets pulled over by LE for expired registration, no insurance and no drivers licenses.
The policy is that his car will not be impounded.

Great policy for illegal aliens, not so much for citizens.

    Its SOP here.

Another stupid policy-illegals get free healthcare.

If a citizen does not have health insurance, they are fined.

Plus the highest taxes in the country and one of the higher costs of living.

So yes its stupid-and it was done by democrats.

    Impounding Vehicles of Unlicensed Drivers
    Politics Dec 29, 2011 1:02 PM EDT

Starting Jan. 1, a new law will take effect in California, meaning that police officers can no longer impound a car at sobriety checkpoints if the driver’s only offense is driving without a license, according to The Associated Press. Under the old law, unlicensed drivers’ cars could be impounded for 30 days and charged thousands of dollars in fees. A person driving without a license will now be able to have a licensed driver take his or her car home.

The controversial law was the subject of an investigation by the Investigative Reporting Program at the University of California, Berkeley that aired on NewsHour in February 2010.
The investigation found that impounds brought in over $40 million in revenue from fees and auctions for local governments and towing companies in 2009 alone. For every arrest for driving under intoxication at the sobriety checkpoints, there were as many as 60 cars seized from unlicensed drivers. The reporting program’s director is special correspondent Lowell Bergman, who narrated this report last year:

The law hit especially hard on undocumented immigrants, who can not legally obtain a license in California, according to Assemblyman Gil Cedillo, who wrote the legislation that takes effect on Sunday.

“Cities are exploiting a broken immigration system, exploiting broken state laws, taking advantage and exploiting the most vulnerable members of our society,” Cedillo told the Investigative Reporting Program in 2010... -> https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/california-impounding-practices-change-for-unlicensed-drivers

The phrase "undocumented immigrant" is a cultural-marxist politically correct phrase for illegal aliens.

Calling a spade a spade is calling an illegal alien what he legally is under the law, an illegal alien.

The PC law still stands today.

Since then, the Democrats in Sacrament have awarded drivers licenses to illegal aliens and automatically registered them to vote in California's elections.

CNN have less viewers than there are prostitutes in the US. Let that sink in for just a moment.
Number of prostitutes in the world: ~~13 million.
Number of prostitutes in the US: ~1 million.

Number of viewers for CNN: Can't even break 950k at best. This for June, by the way.

    On-topic tho:

"Far Right"? Really? You have everything from Tim Pool to Project Veritas' James O'Keefe there. The term "Far Right" is meaningless in this day and age when everyone who don't agree with the moral puritans/busybodies/Authoritarians/Totalitarians of the Left is being called everything from a Nazi to Alt-Right.

This Summit is very much needed as a result of Big Tech behaving exactly like fascists do when it comes to dissenting ideas/opinions.

    Bottom line.

The "Summit" was a Total Joke.

Trump gave the opportunity for some RW Tinfoil Hats (who practically nobody takes seriously) to increase their profile by sucking up to the King Loon Orange Buffoon.

And, once again, if the RW Fever Swamp has a problem with Google or Twitter, they can play by the rules or move on and invent their own platform.

    Problem solved.

Why is the RW constantly whining?

The Summit is a start of something big, which is taking on Big Tech.

Oppression/suppression by the government is bad, but oppression/suppression by companies/corporations is okay, right?

And me Right-wing? Don't kid yourself. I'm a Libertarian Centrist. I call out bull when I see it, and right now the Left is so full of it I don't even know where to begin.

    Oh, ok.:bored:

Still, anybody that buys into the "RW Extremists whining about Twitter/Google" narrative is supporting a far RW Position.

    Case closed.

"If it walks like a duck", etc.:salute:

His actions and the growth of government under his administration suggest otherwise.

"He hated the idea of big government."
Yea, that whole Louisana purchase thing that increased the size of government was a great example of that. Not to mention his life of fiscal irresponsibility by living in debt.
