He "hears things" and "people tell me".
When he does read, it's the National Inquirer - which is fine, except he doesn't read it for amusement, HE TAKES IT SERIOUSLY!

His response devolved the last time this was pointed out. Trump hopefully will not succeed under mining the Congress and Judiciary but Congress is already totally corrupt.

 

That poisonous snake poem he read at his rally was the most disgusting thing I have ever heard a president say. Putrid red meat to his cheering racist, xenophobic, paranoid base. Absolutely disgusting. I can't think of any other adjective.

The thing is, the huuuge tie makes him look smaller. If it was a normal sized tie, he'd have to be 4 ft tall.

The point is that our last two Presidents (Trump and Obama) both have the same problem of not respecting the idea of balance of powers.

 

I think all laws should be able to be understood by everyone without the need for a team of lawyers.

Well it seems you think a comparison of a comprehensive healthcare reform bill to a bill that is essentially no more than incredibly sketchy "repeal" with NOTHING done with the "replace" part of the deal is an example of "more with less"?

So tell me, do you think laws should be easily understood by everyone without the need for a team of lawyers, or should they be needlessly wordy, requiring teams of lawyers to decipher the law?

I believe the former and you call that and me stupid without even realizing I'm not discussing the effectiveness of a law. I think someone(YOU) should look in the mirror.

 

Oh no, I would love laws to be written in plain language.

Unfortunately "plain language" does not have the necessary precision nor lexicon to clearly delinate legal boundries and actions. Laws are meant to be clear and precise to weather the legal processes as constitutionally outlined. A law that says you can't kill anyone unless in self defence is pretty simple and straightforward, except then you have to explain what you mean by self defence and in what circumstances said self defense is warranted, because killing a guy because he threatened to kick your arse is a tad disproportionate.

If you think laws today are "subject to interpretation" I can just imagine the brouhaha over "interpretations of plain language laws" would be like,.

 

Take this and apply the precision laws must have and apply it to Trump speak and you are looking at total chaos.
