Good point. By the time I am done paying taxes, I am left with less than half of my hard earned money. That makes me half a slave!

It's part of my compensation package, that I work hard for.

My Co-Pays are usually $20. The $100 was a hospital admission fee. There are no co-pays for medically necessary vision like cataracts.

Medicaid patients are using my money for their health care, for the most part they don't work for it. My health insurance is part of my employment compensation package that no one but my employer and I contribute to, I WORK HARD FOR THAT!

so if you pay taxes on your income for health care it's not socialism either by that logic

it seems it's the corporitists that do not get it

no one wants a communist system, nor a dictatorship like the right wants

what we want is to use what works from any system and ditch what doesn't from any system

most people on medicaid work, that is the cost to society of not paying people a living wage, raise the min wage to more than qualifies for medicaid, problem solved

the reality is, the more people that participate in insurance, the less the risk, the lower the cost as it is spread out, gov run insurance would lower the lost America spends, not increase it

I was paying more for Obama Care back in 2014. With Government run health care it will be a trip to the DMV, only you'll be seeing the Doctor for 6 minutes.

That's why it costs $1.25 million per mile to pave an asphalt road. The Government is so easy to rip off, simply cut the guy that's supposed to be watching the cost in on the profit. 99.9% no one will ever check.

It's a hot mess the way it is.

You cant make this stuff up with a team of writers. FFS

You and your employer are part of a GROUP. That GROUP uses pooled resources (re: premiums) to pay for medical care for any individual member. Your insurance isnt just you and your employer, it is a groups of MANY people, and MANY employers used to make up the group.

YOU are using other peoples money to pay for your medical care. Thats how ALL.....let me repeat that...thats how ALL insurance works

I'm not old enough for Medicare......I'm 62. Carry on herniating your point. My insurance is good at fighting fraud, Medicare is NOT.

So you admit that YOU are using other peoples money for your medical care !

So now your only concerned about “fraud” ?

Have you checked with your current provider to see how much they made last year denying medical coverage ?

No, I'm not on Medicaid. I work hard for the money my company pays for their part of my insurance compensation package. I'll make it simple for you, if I don't work they won't pay on my insurance. If I was using other peoples money, they would pay anyway. It's not rocket science.

I have always been concerned about Governmental waste, fraud and abuse and posted on the subject frequently......you must be new here.

Yes I have and no they haven't denied anyone.
