I, for one, am against selling US natural gas to Europe.
1st of all - with transportation costs, it looks like the gas is cheaper from Russia.
2nd - russia invests nothing into new technologies. In 30-40 years Russia will run out of the natural gas that is easy to extract and then the US can step in and possibly even use it as a tool to write down majority of the US debt to foreign entities. We will be able to sell the gas at any price we want!

Let’s keep the gas to ourselves! I have a 1,700 square foot house (furnace, gas water heater, gas dryer, gas oven range) and my summer gas bill is around $7 and winter bill never gets above $50, even when it’s like 0F outside for a few weeks.

I am kinda of the opinion that selling natural resources overseas is a bad idea in the long term.
During the 70s through the 90s the we were clearcutting our national forests and selling the logs overseas. Now thoes forests are gone and along with them critical salmon habitat, now the salmon are almost gone and now killer whales are having a hard time getting enough food and the salmon fishing industry is in the toilet.

I don't think we'll find it to our long term advantage to sell raw natural resources overseas.
