Langley, such a freaking joke. You missed all the stuff of "status quo" that led up to 9/11 that was in my post, especially the part where Iraq was calling for Jihad from the well-known pronoun people to stop the sanctions, pronoun people who obviously knew about Madeleine Albrights' famous statement, because they mentioned the "injustice" of the sanctions in both fatwas:

“In the case of Iraq, for the last 10 years the U.S. and Britain have been devastating the civilian society. Madeleine Albright's famous statement about how maybe half a million children have died, and it's a high price but we're willing to pay it, that doesn't sound too good among people who think that maybe it matters if half a million children are killed by the U.S. and Britain. And meanwhile [the sanctions are] strengthening Saddam Hussein.” (On the Attacks on New York and Washington, Noam Chomsky interviewed by David Barsamian, International Socialist Review, Issue 20, November-December, 2001)

Look Langley, more pronoun people, the magical "they," who were mis-appreciated by the Saudis:

"To find the best way, after having found their way to God and His rights, those who are inflicted by injustice need not to be isolated from their natural milieu, or be ignored deliberately, or as a result of mis-appreciation, by the officials in this milieu. They should, rather, be reassured and helped to save themselves, and their surroundings. It is only normal to say that punishment is a necessity in our world, because what is a necessity in the other world must also be necessary in our world on Earth. But, the punishment in the other world is faire and just, and the prophets and messengers of God (peace be upon them all) conducted punishment and called for it in justice, and not on the basis of suspicions and whims.” (Saddam Hussein Shabban 13, 1422 H. October 29, 2001.)

Need help Langley in identifying the "messengers of God," here, maybe this will help:

December 1997, South Movement: "'If the United Nations fails to respond to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (meeting in Tehran) then the Muslim world must act and defy these sanctions,' Farrakhan told an audience of union representatives in the Iraqi capital." (Louis Farrakhan) http://southmovement.alphalink.com.au/southnews/Dec12.htm

Oh, look, there is Ramsey Clark's South Movement friend, maybe a little more for Langley to identify the messengers Saddam was referring to:

September, 16th, 2001: "Whenever a nation becomes great and powerful by God’s Permission, as America has; whenever a nation becomes the undisputed ruler of the world, as America has, by Allah’s Permission; when a nation becomes the only remaining superpower, having the power to destroy other nations and people by the tens of thousands and millions, as Allah has permitted America the power to do, and that nation then has a spiritual lapse and begins to sink into moral decline, the Qur’an teaches that Allah (God) raises a messenger, but he raises that messenger from among the poor and the abject to guide and to warn the great and the powerful.

Allah (God) knows that the powerful will not heed a warning coming from their ex-slave or from the weak or from the abject, so the Qur’an teaches that Allah (God) then seizes that nation with distress and affliction, that it might humble itself. For only in humility can the proud and the powerful heed the Guidance of God, which is mercy and grace from Himself. Allah (God) used this tragedy, hopefully, to bring a great nation to Himself." (Louis Farrakhan)

Langley, if your status quo can't end the sanctions, you just stepped into occupation, and even though Langley should know Israel isn't hated for occupation, they are hated for just being Jews that won't submit, as is in their stinking Moslem Koran; with endless sanctions we become the occupiers. So stupid fracking Bush Sr. was the really stupid one right along with Clinton who got us both fatwas by never ending it.

Finishing, Langley, doesn't always mean killing. Before the first fatwa Clinton could have finished it without firing a shot, oh, but someone defected and told us stuff...

If you think either Iran or Hezbollah have 'gone out of their way' to kill civilians, you are a fool.

What?????? Why they are different I accept that. I respect that. Diversity breeds creativity. But just like them I practice if you mind your own business I will mind mines. If your people need and ask for help only then will I say I’ll be right there. Because I don’t believe in man I believe in humanity.

Oh, they are different all right, as different as Jack-the-Ripper is to Christiaan Barnard (Look it up), though both were human, both had brains, both had ideas, and both used a scapel, but only one had a right to life, only one was rational, only one was moral, and only one deserves my respect and admiration...and it ain't Jack-the-Ripper anymore than it is Iran.

Can you read the graph? Do you know when Roosevelt became the President?

My guess is that you'll go right back to making your bogus claim.

"But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his neighbors, that the Iraqi economy is in shambles, that the Iraqi military a fraction of its former strength, and that in concert with the international community he can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he falls away into the dustbin of history." http://www.barackobama.com/2002/10/02/remarks_of_illinois_state_sen.php

The indirect threat of terrorism is what got us on 9/11, and Saddam’s support for it, containment at that point, Clinton’s policy of containment with sanctions until Saddam fell away was stupid, it would have left Iraq with knowing they got away with a major attack by their proxy Al Quacka.

Giving Iran any money was stupid; letting Libya have their C-130's not so bad, they were falling apart, oh, but then they took him out... Now the deal with Iran is over, and who do we blame, if Iran really didn't want nukes, the deal would still be on with all those retards in Europe... Unratified deals are stupid.

This is Iran minding its own business, which is the spread of death and terror.

Now, if the wimpy-ass coward, President Carter, had taken out the brutal, murdering, scum-bag religious dictator, Ayatollah Khomeini then, the world would be safer, richer, and happier today. But, Carter's humanitarianism and his foggy understanding of the nonsense of self-determination (Any gang, group, tribe, collective, majority, people, folk, have the right to choose any government they want, including tyranny) got in his way of rational thought.

    The right to self-determination:
Ayn Rand: "The right of “the self-determination of nations” applies only to free societies or to societies seeking to establish freedom; it does not apply to dictatorships. Just as an individual’s right of free action does not include the “right” to commit crimes (that is, to violate the rights of others), so the right of a nation to determine its own form of government does not include the right to establish a slave society (that is, to legalize the enslavement of some men by others). There is no such thing as “the right to enslave.” A nation can do it, just as a man can become a criminal—but neither can do it by right."--http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/self-determination_of_nations.html

Who invented the Airplane, the Polio Vaccine, the Smallpox Vaccince, air conditioning, cars, tv's, computers, and rockets? The creative mind. And what has humanity given us:

Wow! Look at that sea of humanity: Ein Volk! Ein Reich!, Ein Führer!

But hey, it's what the "folk", "people", "citizens' "sea of humanity" self-determined.

Go for it, so far your thought process is stifled and unimpressive, and stuck in the Dark and Middle Ages of superstition, feudalism, and mercantilism. But hey, give it go. Show me up.

Just because of religion? But your mindset is stuck on colonialism. I accept you for who you are but it blows your mind to accept others for their beliefs, but I’m the one who believes in superstition? Quick question how do you feel about taking a knee during the national anthem to non violently protest?

You mean that Soleimani wasn't the only person in Iran who can plan attacks? Who knew that? Someone should alert Bonespurs that killing one ****ing guy doesn't gut Iran's ability to plan and carry out terrorism!

Someone should tell you Iran is a worm, eagles eat worms. Wait. I just did. Never mind. (Though what you say is true, long term, short term its a win. Additionally, maybe if we droned Ayatollah Khamenei and his Assembly of Experts, we might just get a regime change that's more pro-reason and less pro-theology. Let's give a go, yes?)

Colonialism? Hell, I'm already in the 25th century colonizing Alpha Centauri B waiting for the rest of you fools to catch up. Let's roll.

If those that own the stadium and/or team grant you permission, go for it. However, no man has the right to anything on another individual's property without the owner of the property's consent.

And you talk to me about mysticism? I understand your argument though but do you? We are in Syria they don’t want us there. We are in Asia China doesn’t want us there. We are engaged in ukraine which was once the Soviet Union now Russia because of us. Iraq wants us out right now. If the owner says no lol

    Wow, what an informative post!

Time and consistency will win this, not bombastic behavior that places a region in danger.

Bonespurs is now yammering about an agreement with Iran not to develop nukes? Wow, what a great idea--err, wait.

I believe Iran's ultimate goal is the destruction of the West and a world ruled by Shites and under Sharia? Is that not their stated goal? You are not very good at political reality. Stop praying and start thinking.

As to the rest of the world, I'd leave them to their own destruction and make money on the clean up. However, if their brutality and vulgarity threatened my liberty, I'd send in Klaatu and Gort.

Nope, not fantasy, just an artistic way to say: Reason is supreme over emotions.

There was never any danger, just hype borne from the need of viewers. Iran couldn't beat a dead dog to death with a sledgehammer.

Iran receiving its money that was unfrozen is "ransom" though?

    What a great double standard!

It was ill-gotten money they had no moral right to, just as Al Capone had no right to his criminal booty, though obviously he ultimately paid the price for having too much illegal booty in more ways than one.

Then why was he targeted to begin with if there was "no danger" to expect from Iran?

If you think that Iran won't retaliate in the future, you're naive. Soleimani isn't the only person in Iran who can plan attacks, and Iran has terrorist cells in a number of countries.

Really, where did the money come from?

You don't even know the source of the frozen assets, do you?

Look it up--you're going to be embarrassed.

You cannot forget history it’s only death to America because we engaged them. But really name one time in history Iran came to the us and hit a target here? Name one time our neighbor has been killed by Iran because of their religion. We go there and then cry foul cause their opinion doesn’t matter their right to exist. They even came to the table only to be spit upon. I’m not an Iran supporter I just think it’s not our place to force democracy upon Muslims who don’t want it. It’s not our place to spend our money in places when we have bridge collapses. Restore our house and I wouldn’t but then you have the credibility to wag your finger and say why is your house blood red and your yard filled with poop.
