Interesting. I saw my father (WW2 Marine) and father-in-law (Col. USAF, test pilot) go senile. Both had firearms the kids had to remove because they held some irrational thoughts. We didn't in good conscience have a choice.

I have trouble making a case senile people should have firearms or drive cars.

Women won't put up with government forcing them to carry unwanted children. This is going to become a huge problem when women push back.

Family help (to raise healthy children) should go with the child.

Makes sense.

Some of these are tough calls as far as maintaining public support. What about people having a psychotic break? Is there public support for not grabbing first?

The whole gun ban thing is crazy because Biden is back to banning semi-automatic AR-15s and calling them "assault weapons." He knows they aren't assault weapons, but still goes ahead with his comments. That's what Trump did on other issue when he was President—talk trash to piss off the other side.

We're not going to ban guns, abortion or dope.
