    President Donald Trump hasn’t conceded yet, and, according to what some of his close advisers have been saying for weeks, he may never concede. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t thinking about his next steps. While there have been several reports that Trump is already considering another presidential run in 2024 the Daily Beast reports Saturday the president is thinking about making it official with an event on the day of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration.

    A rather interesting development.

    It looks like Trump is planning on running again.

    A lot can change in four years, and I think he's being premature. Also, his base in four years could look elsewhere and age might not be graceful to him. Had he immediately conceded, there might've been a path for him but I don't think there's such a path for him now.

    According to three people familiar with the conversations,

    How low "journalism" has sank when such "sources" are routine. A tabloid about bat boy has more credibility.

    This is where credibility comes in. The Daily Beast was 100% spot on with Blind Boy Mac Isaac's laptop conspiracy. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here.

    Assuming the Biden administration turns out to be the train wreck everyone is expecting then Trump would look very good.

    One thing about Trump is he was very clear and on message about what he wanted to do. The next four years will be all confusion and nothing but blaming Trump.

    It makes sense. He will likely have a large crowd in DC to send him off when he boards the helicopter after the inauguration speech and the formal transfer of power. The Trump hotel in Washington DC was booked full before the election and has had few of any cancellations so a large Trump contingent at Biden’s inauguration. After the send off when he gets to an airport with his personal jet or if he takes a government plane from Dover when he arrives home in Florida there could be a rally there waiting for him.

    I hope he runs again. I’m all for it! He can run on MAGA Again! after Biden makes a royal mess of things. He’d be the age then that Biden is now and be constitutionally limited to one term. His vice presidential pick would be huge here. Kristi Noem, Nikki Hailey, Tim Scott? Another possibility is that he could gather a rally to make a concession speech and then declare for 2024 in the same speech or even do both next Saturday in Georgia when campaigning for the two Republican Senators.

    It's an excellent idea, what the hell does he have to lose?

    He's going to go up that elevator, turn around at the top, come right back down and announce his 2024 run. :D

    And then spend 4 years doing nothing else but tormenting poor illegitimate Beijing Joe and the election-stealing dems.

    Whether he gets nominated at the end (hint, he will) does not even matter. Sounds like a no-lose situation for Trump and Republicans.

    I do as well. That doesn't mean anonymous sources are untrustworthy. An anonymous source took down a president. It would be silly to dismiss them out of hand.

    I've seen a tremendous surge in anonymous sources reporting on Trump many of which cant be verified. It's a red flag for fake news. download (1).jpeg

    Why not have the Trumpocity launch the campaign of infamy during the Biden Inauguration. The Trump fans are not going to watch President Biden's innaugeration so a Trump schiest show is a great alternative.

    Trump should bill his announcement of a 2024 run as The Losers Alternative or The Losers Consolation Prize.

    If a Biden term fails, Trump can always say "Pre-pandemic, we had good economic times under my term." The problem is how Trump handled his exit, the Democrats can easily make several ads out of that alone.

    He hasn’t gone over the line on that matter and has said he’d leave the White House if the electoral college ultimately goes for Biden. It’s how he handles the transition after that that really matters. Being nice to transition team members from the other side, being cordial with Biden when he shows up for transition stuff. That is why if he’s going to run, he will stay for the inauguration, and be there for the transfer of power. And he won’t announce while Biden is giving his inauguration ceremony or speech.
