Trump says attacks on jewish sites could be "to make others look bad", PA AG says

Yes, "curious" is indeed the right word. What did president Trump mean, if he actually said that? To me it sounds like he was implying that these threats and attacks were fabricated by jews in order to get attention and sympathy from the world. It might sound strange, but it's actually very common for jews to fake "antisemitic hate crimes". Here are some examples:

1. Do you think that president Trump really said that these recent threats and attacks against jewish institutions could be "to make others look bad"?

2. If he really said that, what did he mean?

3. Do you think it's possible that these threats and attacks were faked by jews in order to get attention and sympathy from the world?

As always, all opinions are welcome.

 

I don't even know what Trump meant by such a remark..

 

Perhaps he meant that right wing groups in Europe could accomplish two objectives at the same time by threatening Jewish institutions............ and people would obviously tend to blame the threats on Islamic refugees.

Forum poster provided several examples of this. And he just gets trolled. Unbelievable.

 

Now the media are reporting that some black guy named Juan Thompson is responsible for some of the recent threats against jewish centers, and that he did it in order to frame his former girlfriend, which means that president Trump was right when he said that the culprit's motive was "to make someone else look bad".

But what about the rest of the threats, and the vandalism? Based on what I've seen so far, these other crimes are still unresolved so could it be that jews are responsible for them, and that their motive is to generate sympathy for their people at this crucial time when president Trump is being attacked by the jewish media for not doing enough for the jewish community? It's just a theory, but an interesting one.

But it's a fact that jews fake "antisemitic hate crimes", in my OP I posted many examples from mainly jewish newspapers and news sites. Here's another one:

I find the media silence on possible suspects most telling. That to me says it's not racist white guys or the media would be on parade.

It is really interesting to me how Europeans view US relations with Jews and Israel.
The only conclusion I can draw is that in Europe there must still be a considerable amount of Anti-Semitic sentiment.
Americans have a huge loyalty to Israel. We would side with Israel over any other country.
Jews in the US are among the most educated and wealthy.
We hate Muslims. A US politician won't survive criticizing Jews and defending Muslims.

It's possible to criticize both Muslims and Jews. I think that sentiment in the US is coming sooner than you may know.
