But they need to apply for a work visa, be sponsored by a grower, be on a legitimate payroll, pay taxes, have a clean bill of health, be trained in the handling of food, be trained on how to use portable toilets, and hand washing facilities, and be banned from welfare. Healthcare needs to be provided by their sponsoring employer. I don’t care if they get a drivers license, or send their money home. During the off season they go back home.

 

If you can find a job that pays you well enough with those hours then good on you. Unfortunately most jobs don't work that way. Congratulations. Your attitude is a huge cause of the illegal problem.

Besides, if China actually played by any rules, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now, because they wouldn't raise tariffs on TOP OF the tariffs they're already imposing, long before Trump came to be. Remove all illegal aliens from California, there would no longer be a housing crises, rentals would see a big decrease in rent. Wages would increase and the state and local governments would have a $23 billion dollars surplus to spend on other stupid things.

Illegal aliens only contribute or pay $13 billion in taxes in America and that includes state sales taxes.
